He would still move his arms subtly. Try doing the same pose as him. You wouldn't keep your arms completely static

I do agree in here. He could use some more frames in his animation, while still moving subtly.

Also, he looks a little rough on the detailing of some parts. Isn't there a way to keep a softer anti aliased look to his rendering?

I tried the anti aliasing. I gotta finish up on Kia's basics & Fatality reactions first, then on to Erron's turnaround, walk, & etc.

For Kai, how about he uses the knife he has in MK4 to cut the opponent in half, then blasts their upper half in mid-air with a fireball?

Slice in half, do a kick to send their upper half to the sky, then the fireball. Afterwards the bottom half just falls over.
