I don't really know about the hot crater stage, should they be really standing inside the platform? Route 99 looks alright to me.

Also taking off the shadows if it hasn't already been mentioned then putting the main floor as layerno = 1 after being lowered.

I'm thinkin about taking the shadow off of Route 99. I just lowered the ground on Hot Crater, I'll re-post later on.

your hot crater stages will look better if you used a vector floor.

your hot crater stages will look better if you used a vector floor.

not to sound n00bish but give me an example of a vector floor.
use a piece of the floor and use vector graphics.


after taking a second glance at the route 99 pic, you have some problems.

-the colors of the windows aren't right. you should have made them color 0 or white.
-the deltas should be different for the buildings and the floor, so that they won't scroll the same.
-why did you add white buildings behind the buildings? were you trying to make the windows white?

your hot crater has problems too.
-why is the background scrolling?
-you put the boundhigh too low.


maybe you should've worked on them more?

i put white bg behind buildings because parts of the buildings were see through.
Oh and Hot Crater bg is scrolling because thats is how it was in the game. The fire would scroll differently but the sky would stay in one position. I will do some separating later. The bound high is too high you mean? Well I'll just fix that later.
