Haohmaru & Rasetsumaru got a supers & for their Zetsumei finishers Haohmaru uses his Tenha Denku Retsu Zan(nice motion I love the way the opponent got thrown away) while Rasetsumaru uses his Zoubu Eguri. Btw I'm glad Rasetsumaru had the SSV/VZero's voice because the one in SSVI: Tenka his voice were sucks.

Awesome update. Btw I believe this is the first time a Warusaki announcement is only about one char. ;P

The heart rip turned out great, I just find it weird that Rasetsumaru is behind the opponent. Could've also used the SamSho fatality sound, that was pretty cool.

Yeah, but now he has custom Rasetsumaru sprites made by Viofitz, and maybe new moves.

Actually, seeing Viofitz's edits, and the fact that he stated each time "thanks to Waru for the authorization", I was kinda waiting for something like that. :)

I'll test it later when I get back to my home.

Actually, the other mode seemed like it was meant to play more like Haohmaru's "Bust" mode from SS4.

Before this update, he only had the palette for Rasetsumaru, not the mode.

Off-topic: Contrary to what the date says, Ingrid was actually updated on 6/27 along with everyone else (except Dio, of course).  For some reason, she lost one of her supers and got a new edited one... o_O

CVSHaohmaru updated again also CVSHibiki, & CVSVega 07/09/05.

Edit: Some of Rasetsumaru's voice set had been edited to be more balanced to his moves(mainly for Senpuu Retsuzan & Senpuu Ha(the previous one didn't really match to his motion).

Vega is much harder now. :)

Also, he updated Hibiki's AI considerably. I put her up against His Kyo, Terry, and Chunli, and she got at least one perfect victory on all of them. I wonder why those 3 have no AI?

Edit: Upon further testing, Hibiki got a perfect on Warusaki3's Rock, and also easily beat his Rugal and Geese...WTF

I tried the updated cvsvega, there is a wierld problem, after I have activate the dummy AI in training mode for cvsvega, the AI goes well. When I change my characters in player select screen, I choose cvsvega for human player which I control and the AI is still activate --; I don't know about hibiki and hoahmaru, I haven't try them

Waru and Creation:

I love it, especially in these three categories:

- Elimination of the "frame chop" by using his own choice of speeds    .....    +1   (I just like it better)

- His specifc implementation of the envshake during the strikes really makes me feel as though there is power behind those hits    .....    +1

- SOUNDS - so damn well done, the hits don't sound 'hollow' at all     .....    +1

How about vs Vice?

I didn't download Hibiki yet, but from what I test so far, Vice  probably has the most stronge AI among Waru's chars.

I dunno.  Vice is pretty damn good, but from what I've seen, is nothing compared to the likes of Shin Gouki and the Howards... Nightmare Geese especially.  I swear that P.o.t.S.' Shin Gouki fears N. Geese, because I haven't seen him win one round against him.

Countering a Misogi at the last possible instant with a Thunder Break = massive lulz for all.

I didn't download Hibiki yet, but from what I test so far, Vice  probably has the most stronge AI among Waru's chars.


I think his God Rugal is the toughest of all his characters. I never put him against Vice, but I can beat her without too much trouble. God Rugal always kicks my ass though.

Anyway, I hope he gives Kyo and Terry some unstoppable AI. Especially Kyo, I mean, look how many KOF tournaments he's won :mmiley:

You shouldn't put a Warusaki3 char with AI against any of PotS's chars at all:






Here's why:


Note:
I have not yet had the chance to test the three chars that have been updated
The following comes from the other chars that Waru has implemented AI and CNS :coughs: into:




- The priorities in Warusaki3's chars are "boss-Like" yes, meaning they override many of PotS's chars priorities. even PotS has some high priorities too indeed, the amount of usage leads to the difference between teh AIs..


- Warusaki3's AIed chars feature a 'Guard Break Code' directly into the invulnerable attacks.


- The AIR on Waru's CvS chars are much faster than PotS's, H's, etc. (PotS, H', etc. create it based on Fast 3 in CvS2, and Waru crerates based on fast 4 in CvS2)


- Waru's chars do about 1.7 times the damage of many other creators' CvS Chars.


- Waru's chars often use their hyper attacks that tend to be invulnerable and very powered, with teh highest priority. They trigger when their opponent is in a 'standing, attacking phase' thereby guaranteeing the hyper attack launched by the specific char in question will connect.


- The Charge on Waru's chars is very fast, and also serves to give them a distance advantage in which all they really have to do is charge, then launch the hyper attacks whenever the opponent comes within range (usually relates to the EX groove).

- Waru's chars feature coding allowing them to break their charge directly into Invulnerable Attacks (i.E. Charge directly into the Shoryuken for his Ken; Charge directly into teh Jinsai Cutter for god Rugal)


Possibly too much use (more than 66% of the time) of the 'guardbreak' into the "parry/final guard" in which the chars gain back health and can pound you with numerous types of attacks (highlighted best in Waru's OLD Haohmaru). - This is only legitimate if your chars are coded to be aggresiive at all distances, which waru's chars, that i've tested so far, have never been.
Usually though, waru's chars, do not launch hypers right after this event so that is good.





As I've said many of times, PotS is the better AI coder.

But waru, no offense, is my favorite creator.






I think his God Rugal is the toughest of all his characters.

Really it depends on the groove you're in.

EX Groove - Shin Gouki wins most of teh time

C-Groove - Violent Ken and God Rugal usually Win

K-Groove - Shin Gouki and God Rugal usually Win

Heck, I already said somewhere else that for real accuracy all chars would use priority 4 in every attack except throws, but at this point it's impossible to do it... Maybe I should discuss this with him, both our chars using that system would motivate people to follow it.

Not sure what you mean, Guard Cancel attacks (alpha counter) are supposed to be invincible till the point before they hit but vulnerable afterwards. Isn't it like that in Waru's chars?

What I mean is that they go directly from "guarding" to invulnerable, high priority attacks (guard directly into the shoryuken... player impossible).
Then again there is the little issue we had before with the 'alpha counter' so that's straight.
I should show you some more of my vids though.

I know. That point was just to highlight that your chars do less damage and shouldn't be pitted againbst Waru's at all.

Plus your chars do not have the same charge rate and damage which is a key factor to the equation

I know about dodging right out of it, but not necessarily attacking. But now that I think about it, that would make sense. When making that point I was moreso frustrated y other things.

They don't lose to your chars.
Remember that issue of the AIR file speed. The faster you get to the Attack CLSN, the higher the percentage of your strike connecting.

I noticed one thing about Waru's Hibiki and other authors' chars such as Pots's.

When Hibiki hit any of Waru's CvS char with her hyper attack, they will lie down with "cheap KO" anime.


The strange thing is, Pots's CvS char like Morrigan or Vega also has "cheap KO" anime,

but they do not use it when hited by Waru's Hibiki's hyper attack.


I wonder why.  ???

PotS's authorname isn't listed in Waru's coding, which is why PotS's chars' 5950 are ignored by Waru's characters.

Easy solution: Remove the authorname nonsense in Waru's chars' 5950 coding.  I have yet to see 5950 used for anything other than a collapse anim anyway, so I think it's an okay solution.

For example:

Use trigger statetype != A so that as long as the char is KOed on the ground, he will collapse instead of fly away.  :sugoi:

After test Waru's Vice vs. God Rugal couple of times, the result is:

Vice can still beat God Rugal without much trouble.

It's really a shame when an boss with his strongest power still get lose from one of his underling.  :-X

I did not know all this before (nor did I really care... and I still don't).  Now I do.  And knowing is half the battle, etc etc.

Not Warusaki3's Nightmare Geese I suppose.

By my test, Waru's Vice can beat Waru's Nightmare Geese without any problem.
And by my test, Nightmare Geese kills off all Waru characters not named Shin Gouki.

I think my Mugen is somehow biased against Vice. ;S

Also Hibiki AI its almost tough like CVS Vega. When I put them in watch mode first round Vega win, in 2nd round Hibiki win and in final round Vega win. So she was able to defeat him in 2nd round. One of bosses shouldn't loose like that IMO. Or maybe its because she have long rage moves ?

Awesome stuff

anybody know how to pull off Haohmaru's/Rasetsumaru's fatality? I've seen the AI do Rasetsumaru's a few times

Haoh's fatality is simple: Just do the hcb,f+K super.  If it'll KO the opponent, Haoh will do the fatality instead of the uber slash.

And you guys are saying that Hibiki and Bison have custom AI now?  Ooh, now I'm very interested...

Warusaki3 probably made minor/major updates all of his AIs.



I didn't get around to checking the coding itself but here's an explanation for why you all are seeing some new AI match trends based on who wins
(Some of the following is just based on speculation based off of running of matches and judging what occured in the chars)





The Updates I've noticed, After Redownloading his other chars that alrerady had AI are:

- I'm very sure that Warusaki3 reduced the amount of times his AIs will perform a Hyper Attack while its enemy is attacking. (This only applies to each of his chars that had AI before Hibiki, but I'm not sure about Vega yet)

- Hibiki, noticibly, triggers Hypers far more often than any of his other AIs. As I said, I havent gotten around to checking the coding but, I am very sure that she still contains the code that triggers the hypers while p2 is attacking. I think waru updated his other AIs with thios change forgetting (maybe)/before implementing this change in Hibiki.



Test This:
Redownload the other AIed chars and pit them against their older counterparts.


Reason that I would give for this going unlabeled/no date change:
Because it is not a COMPLETE AI change. It is only a slight variation that can affect the outcome of the matches.






2 Notes:

I suspect that he reduced teh likelihood of the AI going into the charge

I suspect there was also a parry likelihood reduction as well.











Edit: Upon further testing, Hibiki got a perfect on Warusaki3's Rock, and also easily beat his Rugal and Geese...WTF

You may have redownloaded Geese which I believe Waru has updated with teh change mentioned above.
Make sure to test her against, Geese's older version. By 'Rugal' did you meanm just Rugal or God Rugal.

In addition, if that is not the case with you, I could acredit to the speed and range of Hibiki's attacks, but... meh.  :S

I dunno, testing her against the Fair Haohmaru Patch I released for Master Gouken's char, kind of didn't go hand in hand with that unfortunately. It might only apply within Waru's char circle.

Maybe it could also be that she has a very high tendency to dodge and that if she does there is no way to hit her because she is very likely, to parry directly out of it.






By my test, Waru's Vice can beat Waru's Nightmare Geese without any problem.

After test Waru's Vice vs. God Rugal couple of times, the result is:

Vice can still beat God Rugal without much trouble.

It's really a shame when an boss with his strongest power still get lose from one of his underling


You may have redownloaded Nightmare Geese and God Rugal which I believe Waru has updated with the change mentioned above, and pitted them against the OLD Vice because this should be very rare. Unless you redownloaded all three in which case I wouldn't know what the result could have been.

Sorry, I deleted all his chars' old version so I can only test with latest version.

Also, I only collect his chars that has update AI and I like
(which means chars I don't like such as Todo will not be in my list even if he has AI :P).

There are 6 Waru's char in my list right now:
Rugal, Geese, Vice, Rock, Ken and Hibiki.

In my opinion, what make Vice strong against other 5 chars is because she's an grab-style char,
and her AI take an great adventage on the invincible time of her grab moves.

Oh, and I need to mention two thing:

1) With my code edit, all of 6 chars always use EX mode to fight.

2) Because the damge Waru's chars cause are so high that the match time is too short for me to enjoy,
    I reduse all 6 chars attack from 100 to 50, so that I can watch their match much longer.


By my test with two alter points above, Vice is still the one who has most strong AI among these 6 chars,
and she is equally strong with God Rugal and Nightmare Geese.  :-X

Try putting Vice against Warusaki3's Regular or Violent Ken, or test a few more matches against Hibiki.

I haven't retested Ken yet, but I think it would be a safe assumption that the AI hadn't changed to much from the old.

Come on guys, Mugen is not only about AI, it's about your skills. Hibiki is fr from being so hard. God Rugal is still stronger IMO, much more than this little LB2 girl or than Vice.

- Waru's chars constantly use "invulnerable", extermely powered, highest priority Hyper Attacks, meant to trigger when their opponent is in a 'standing, attacking phase' thereby guaranteeing the hyper attack launched by the specific Waru char in question will connect, dealing tons and tons of damage.


- The Charge on Waru's chars is way off (... Broken), and also serves to give them a distance advantage in which all they have to do is charge, then launch the hyper attacks whenever the opponent comes within range which is very often (usually relates to the EX groove).


Overuse (Over 66% of the time) of the 'guardbreak' into the "parry/final guard" in which the chars gain back health and can pound you with numerous types of attacks (highlighted best in Waru's OLD Haohmaru) - This is only legitimate if your chars are coded to be aggresiive at all distances, which waru's chars, that i've tested so far, have never been.[/size]

Tested the newest AI from Haohmaru, Hibiki, & Vega, the AI were balanced imo it depends from their chance/strategy to attack permanently & if one char's lifebar were in a half status, chances for that char were usually hard to win though sometimes can win depends again with chance/strategy. Seriously by my experience the harder AI from Warusaki3's chars is Shin Gouki.

No AI for guile and yamazaki but for guile, I felt that he nows play like he is in capcom fighting evolution which his somersault kick is now difficult to execute. I don't know why warusaki3 makes his somersault kick execute like capcom fighting jam instead of capcom vs snk 2 where it is easier to execute :( I would prefer the previous version guile
