What are your favorite "Fandom" created mugen character(s)? (Read 9553 times)

What are your favorite "Fandom" created mugen character(s)?

When i say "fandom" i mean comic book characters,anime,cartoon or movie characters. And the creator was clever enough to sprite edit up the character or just do it from scratch.

One of my first and favs i remember downloading way back in 2005 sometime i think was ASH from Evil Dead by Pizza man. He was a CVS sprite style. I used to jam with that creation a lot or love watching him fight with all things being said from that movie. Awesome work. i still have that character.

There were others that come to mind but ill leave ASH as my top fav.

So what was yours?

The name Pizza Man reminds me of pre-MFG Network P.O.T.S. :(

OT: Back in 06 I was huge into Naruto and I remember there were these SNK-styled Naruto characters that were pretty awful but I liked them, and they had the ability to roll. They're very dated now though (Rasengan-free Naruto, etc).

There was also another Naruto with custom MS Paint sprites that I recall having; he could summon tons of clones of himself. It was in this that I understood the 'unlimited potential' of MUGEN because I had never seen a character do anything like this prior.

Ah, I remember those, I think I still have them somewhere in my computer.


On topic, I can list the Z2 chars, Beavis by The_None, Naruto and Sasuke edited by Txpot.

Splatterhouse's Rick by Fuddyfunny. I love this character and it's incredibly well done with every move being a homage to the actual game itself. And his taunt is by far the best I have ever seen.

Let's see if I can list a few (That's not mentioned here):

.Miki Sayaka by FuddyFunny - That "rage" mode of hers... no comment.

.Kamen Rider Kaixa by FuddyFunny - Never really much into Faiz, yet the Kamen rider fan in me wanted to test out this Kaixa. He's surprisingly decent in gameplay; though don't know if all of what he does in the show is in there (Never watched Faiz anyway).

.Kamen Rider Kuuga by Ruina&Azuma - I was pretty big on Kamen Rider Kuuga back then (I still considered it to be my #1 Kamen Rider Show anyway), so I'm really curious to how this Kuuga is like for Mugen. I fricken love everything from him: Down to the supers (Which he can change forms), his "finishers", his sounds (Which are taken from the show itself), and his insta-kill.. which is him going Ultimate (Did I mention that his Ultimate form is one of my favorites, due to how deadly it is?).

.Batman by Cybaster - What? I actually like using him.

Probably MvC Mordecai. As much as I hate, hate, hate Regular Show, I'm pretty impressed with the character. Sure, the hand-drawn sprites are a little distracting at times, but he's well-put-together with his gameplay. (Also, the MAD-referencing Super was a nice touch.)

As goopy as this sounds, I would have to say that the majority of Most_Mysterious's chars have a special place in my heart due to their originating from computer games that I haven't even heard of. I will admit that some of the movesets of those chars are a tad dated by now (because every character and their author seems to have an SGS these days), but the author's bizarre sense of humor still makes the characters themselves stand out even today.

I also like The_None's Missingno as well. Not only is it the best Pokemon conversion I've ever seen, it's also pretty much the only glitchy char I can respect. I would say that the only thing that upsets me about it is that there aren't any references to the glitch Pokemon's "guest appearance" in Capcom's JJBA fighting game, but it uses Star Platinum's/The World's punch barrage sprites as a base for one of its moves, so I guess that kinda evens things out.

I haven't seen one in ages in MFG, and no MUGEN Wiki created characters do not count.

I like what Madoldcrow1105 has been doing with his Nick vs CN project. Has the potential to be the best cartoon character MUGENizations in the engine.

Haruhi by Choiyer. Aside from NSFW stuff, she's pretty fun.

Idk if this count but Yatteyaru-Death by Fuddyfunny is my other favorite. (Basically it's Evangelion parody using K-On character)

Lastly is Ironman by Zvitor. Nuff' said.

I agree with you, even though some of his works could use a little more fixing up. Also, I'm really not much of a big fan of his putting references to other shows into some chars (like that one super in which the Regular Show cast somehow become members of the Green Lantern corps), but if it makes the kids happy, then why should I complain?

You're probably right, dude.

Anyways, I love The_None and Balthazar's take on Sentro from the Jetsons (though that could be due to the fact that he summons Lakitus, mini-Zangiefs, and Meta Knight, among other things).
