im working on a ryu from SFA3 so far whats done is

spriting  10%
sound     50%
palettes  60%
intros     0%
ending    0%
commands  15%
specials   5%

what's with the press start in the upper left?

TC is calling it new ryu and is thinking of a better name something tells me this wont just be a regular sfa ryu

he's just posting the sprites directly from the rips just no point made.... about it being "new".... it seems like he's just saying that its a new wip....

music is probably for the intro and the ending.

if it is regular sfa ryu why does the title of all this include "still thinking about the name" wouldnt the name just be sfa ryu?

why is it when starting a char
the name is being thought of 1st?

it's so easy to change and it can always be done at any moment
you should be thinking more on how to make your own styled ryu

Ingame shots or no go.

2) There's no shortage of ideas in MUGEN, but not as much progress.  Try to wait until you have some actual progress with your project before you post.

So basically if you cant show us things other then just sprite rips, it shouldn't be here.

1, dont be afraid to ask questions
2, spriteswap kfm will get you going fine
3, messing around with values also
4, take your time

Seriously.

There is no magic button and this thing has been around for a while there are tons of experienced people that are willing to help you learn if you just ask.

They wont flat out give you the answer if they feel you would benefit more from working some of it out on your own.  think of it like a bunch of mentors more than an easy button.

SFA3-Accurate Ryu, perhaps? This would actually be a first.

Oh and those "pics" are sprite rips that were almost certainly done by someone else. It's pretty safe to assume that you're actually not going to do anything. ::)

Try to make it unique...
There is about....well, theres alot of ryus out there. For your ryu to get noticed, you have to make it different from the rest. MAKE YOUR RYU SPECIAL!  :sugoi:
