Since we've had the game for about a month give or take how about we share our mains. I for one wanted to main Mewtwo as soon as I realized it was in the game and honestly it's one of the few characters I can properly play. Loads of fun and I'm pretty sure I accidentally clicked with one of the stronger Pokemon in the game lol.
Mewtwo main here. Ironically enough, I've been having trouble with the mirror match. using Cubone/Digglet assist, but I've heard Frogadier/Emolga is really good too.I've recently discovered that you can bypass the daily Amiibo limit with the power of TIME TRAVELSpoiler: Every Amiibo exclusive item (click to see content)Spoiler: Male items (click to see content)Spoiler: Female items (click to see content)Spoiler: Backgrounds (click to see content)Spoiler: Titles (click to see content)Pokégold: 100-1000,000
I've been maining Gardevoir. Lotta fun to use. Want to try to get better with Charizard, Suicune, Weavile or Mewtwo more, but haven't done too well on that front.I'm hoping they're finding enough support for this game to consider additional characters, because it really is quite fun, but I'd enjoy trying out some newcomers to play as and fight against. Not like Pokémon doesn't have enough monsters to give a shot.
DLC incominghttps://www.reddit.com/r/PokkenGame/comments/4o5mnh/some_info_about_file_differences_in_the_new_13/QuoteFor those just joining us, u/ZekiraDrake pointed out that the numbers correspond to pokedex numbers meaning the three new pokemon referenced in these new files are Darkrai (491), Scizor (212), and Empoleon (395). I should point out that the batlseq archive doesn't contain all information about all fighters, but rather seems to contain supplemental files for various fighters and support pokemon. Character models and textures are located in content/WiiU/packdata/chrdep/master/, where no new files have appeared. If these files really do indicate that there will be new fighters, they will be completely seperate downloads when released (as opposed to the way sm4sh handles DLC, which is essentially just a small file that "unlocks" the new characters already included in the game update). This is interesting because it implies that those without the DLC will not be able to fight against DLC fighters online. Also, we can rule out the files with 10453 as being significant in terms of DLC, as these are likely files for Croagunk (various pokemon forms in the game are often associated with increments of 100, like Pikachu Libre having files with 10025 and Charizard's mega form being labelled as depp006_100 in his character archive).Again, the btlseq archive is for supplemental files - not all pokemon have a file in here. Given that there is space for four additional fighters on the CSS, there may be one more surprise fighter we don't know about yet. If we don't see any DLC announcements during Nintendo's E3 streams, it may be something we'll see at Evo.TL;DR: New files in Pokken suggest Darkrai, Scizor, and Empoleon may be incoming DLC fighters - There could potentially be a fourth fighter too we don't know about yet
Scizor is the likely Pokemon to be a new addition to the roster with Darkrai/Empoleon as the new support set.Sweeet.
we finally get a bug type pokemon playable, while we get a sinnoh water starter and one of the sinnoh legendary pokemon as support

Not bad. But I'm sad that Jigglypuff is still not a playable in this game. I want to rekt my opponents with Rest outside of Smash as well, dammit!
