Did you ask him WHY? I mean, if he's going to come here and continue what he normally does, what's he need it lifted for. He tends to make Byakko intolerable as well, they sorta feed off each other.

I do not understand, he seemed happy with a permanent ban before. Something must have changed quite drastically. Also, he's likely to want/need it back on in about 2 months.

Augh!

Devils advocate.
He has RS to announce everything. He has RS for wip topics too, most of the people he's actually going to listen to are there, or visit there. Announcing here would be for nothing except exposure. He could appoint a spokesperson to do it for him on the release side.

I could swear i warned him this would happen. I refuse to make a decision. He doesn't get on my nerves except when he's TV evangelist on creator rights.

im with cy, how long until he is advocating again how stupid/bad/assholes we are and how much we are unneeded and just a big gorilla that cant be ignored?
How long until he is butting in threads and topics supporting crap like browser takeovers?
When we ban someone permanently usually it sticks and is for a good reason, going back through the threads that led into this decision he probably earn it.

He can use others to announce his stuff and guild has been calmer without him jumping into situations and feeding fires.

But that's only me, and the holidays are over so I'll be pretty absent again anyway.

I'd only request that you try not to hurt Guild's relationships with his associates by the way you deny his request too much, things seemed quite relaxed lately.

Lies. Banlists get that long because you have a constant proxy spammer who needs to stay away.

I would not MIND kfm coming back. If i could be sure that there's no chance at all that his previous err leanings, wouldn't come to the fore.

The ban was originally 3 weeks cos him defending Burori (that's his frigging name he had it when he created DBZ stuff blast it) for diverting MFG users to that popup page was the end as far as i was concerned. Massive difference between protecting your work, and being a fuckwit.

How come I got a feeling he just wants to come back so he can post in that 2009 split topic? Or something else.

I got say that when the RS guys are around they don't even try to make things better. They only disrupt.

I see Byakko running his face off and the KFM wants to come back? This sounds like the same thing that happened last time.

I'm just asking why does he want to come back?

he had his fair share of chances, and most of the shit he pulled he never even HAD to answer for it, instead we were the ones always giving him chances and trying to adapt to him.
Too much of a source of confusion, everytime something rubbed him the wrong way I would get tons of messages about what we should be doing.

he is untouchable as far as our actions go so far.

If you want to give anyone that much power just give them admin status, at least officialize it instead of dancing around it.

They were already replying before I split that thread. I don't see to much wrong with it. I shows perfectly what happened. I mean a topic was derailed because somebody said the word KFM so people decided that the topic should become yet another RS will defend anything ever said about KFM topic.

Since I did it, I haven't seen shit from Byakko. So someone tell me that it didn't stop some of the problems.

It's not nice but effective. But as far as causing them to post. Looks like it has stopped them to me Iced.

If you guys think I'm wrong then change the title. Bitch at me publicly to save face. Then watch them comeback in waves to critisize you guys for changing the title. You know they will too.

I still think Sepp isn't wrong.

Proposed compromise: we fulfill his request, but with a 7 day delay. that way we make sure it's not a hasty decision or "damn I sure want to reply to that fucker in that thread right now!" or something like that.

If he gets on our nerves we can always ban him again, but I suppose after this time (and RS' fading influence on.. stuff) he will be easily tolerable for a good while.

Well I'm not happy about it, I bet No Point isn't either. I guess it was about time for me to get into the thick of shit with Byakko, KFM, and RS. No sense and talking behind their back.

Still, I'm new so that was a question with an expression of my feelings. I wanted to see what the rest of you felt because I'm learning from more experienced people that have been around longer and have a more learned opinion.

I guess someone felt it was time for me to move on to expressing my feelings rather than learning.

Next time I'll post something like that in Mugen Discussion so at least the crying and shit from the other side can be in public and not in my mailbox.

Still feels like a betrayal to me.

I moved those posts. Sorry if you didn't want those public, I thought they were rather harmless. I agreed very much with your posts but didn't say so when I moved the thread, should've done that.

It happened way too often that when someone wanted to bring up a matter for the staff that they just conveniently added it to a post about something only marginally similar. While the general-purpose threads serve their purpose (doesn't look good when we make a new thread about every little thing), we should split off more seperate matters that get a number of replies. And use this forum less. Srsly.

Also, did you really get mailbox crying about that?

Cryings is to strong a word. Or maybe it's the perfect word. I'm having a rather good debate with Byakko. If he keeps up he might have me convinced I was wrong LOL.

There is a kind of, "come to the darkside" tone going on, because I agree with how they think about some things, not about how they act.

He knows how I feel about things and I told him that I would try to refrain from bashing RS in my future post so all is good......

I think......

I don't mind. I have said worse about them in public =p

They know how I feel about their mentalities and actions. Heck, RS formed because I was considering turning Guild into something similar to what it is now.

Problem was, I asked for feedback/opinions and didn't secretly plan an overthrow. Which in retrospect was my biggest hang up.
I've never been one to endorse "secret plans" and "hidden agendas". Asking for opinions? HAH, now I can look back and see how much SERIOUS BUSINESS I thought about all this.

I wouldn't "discuss" with Byakko if I was you. He's had many years of practice nitpicking phrases and twisting words into a really logical argument.

I'm on limited internet for the next few days, fucking transfer limit.

Anyway. I don't see too much harm in the awards existing. If i hadn't he would have had one of his other friends do so. And there's nothing WRONG with doing them. Although i mentioned to him i hated the "worst" as well. I did not sticky them, i wouldn't have stickied them if requested. They're not in anywhere important like announcements. They're in a BAU forum and it's a pretty popular one so the thread shouldn't overtake anything else.

Ban in the first place was perma at his request, i was just going to give him a couple of months. Technically he'd be back, or banned again by now.

I'm still relatively "like, whatever" but other than fear of what might happen, there's no real reason to keep him banned. We've brought other people back who were far more annoying. hotreezy and evilryu ring bells for anyone?

When the enemy goes nuts a few seconds later and reacts in the worst possible way he's like, "OMG, what the hell are they doing, are they stupid?!?"

Thrawn "explains" that, Look here, it might not have worked on anyone else, but these are aliens of species XYZ, which I knew at once from their attack formations, and since I happen to have studied their art ages ago---just see how they typically draw a line in their paintings!---I knew that the only response to attack ABC species XYZ is psychologically capable of would be to run bindly into their doom!!!

It's the only response most of them are psychologically capable of.     You see?!?!

Yeah no, see I analyzed his characters years ago. See how he does the hitdefs? It clearly means the only response he is psychologically capable of to such an act would be destroying everything in his reach, thus completing the first of his 12-step programme "destroy the world starting with mugen".

Well, we've managed that. I banned him in the first place, i will be the one to UNban him again if you wish?

Fun fact, he come to me a couple of days ago complaining on how he wasnt getting unbanned and how Iced wasnt too happy about it since he had said he would.

...

when I pointed out that I was Iced, he changed to Cyanide.

Then he complained about TDS being up to his regular schemes since the staff was probably discussing him where he cant have his say.

Well we let SBZ back, and he's an asshole. I'll mention again it was permanent on his request, otherwise it would have been 3 weeks. Ie: by my banning he should now be unbanned.

No one is really making their minds up here. And i've seen many changes. Mine included. I unbanned him yesterday. If he steps out of line, like i said, i'll ban him again.

I spoke to him in advance and explained that there were some conditions on it.

The original ban was not worthy of permanence. It was only permanent because he wanted it permanent. Also, i liked that idea or i wouldn't have done it. It's been about 3 weeks since he originally requested it, so he certainly didn't "get his way" quickly.

Anywho, stepping out of line will result in reban. No quarter.

Complaining through MSN is not a bannable offence XD.

On the lighter side. FrantzX's mugen clone is fucking good for it's current point in development. I'm seeing things work that shugendo didn't have working a year after it's start date. And possibly still doesn't, i don't know, latest beta is private for now.

I've been hearing chattering from foreign intelligence. I also have papers that say that KFM is bringing a malware bomb material from Africa to Random Select.

I recommend we do a preemptive strike against Random Select. We shall bring Random Select Democracy.

Just because we haven't been attacked by some other person, does not mean that if we don't act now that Kfm won't get enough Material to make his own Malware of mass annoyance (MMA).

We should try the "United YouTube Mugen Nations", but if they don't agree we should invade Random Select, and take out these MMA's ourselves.

Are the massive banners really a necessity? Should we really feel the stage is somehow infinitely better because it has the approval of a fellow who can't maintain a consistent domain, especially when it would seem he isn't actually even hosting it so much as having a central spot for a sendspace link?

He just tries to act clean, but we all know that his way of acting towards people leads into them reacting badly to them.

He cant be considered a pure presence even if he isnt starting shit directly, since he has started so much and so many in the past that people will ( many times rightfully) act suspicious towards him.
