I'd probably say Scorpion vs Jedah, since Jedah represents a reaper-type character and Scorpion's connection to the Netherrealm.

Doom/Wesker just like in MVC3 I guess or M. Bison

Wow...I hadn't checked back here since there was only page 1.

I've seen the updates and I gotta say Sean, not only is the art impressive (colors are vivid and lines are very crisp) you manage to capture the expressions of the characters and their attitudes beautifully.

Keep it up buddy, this project is tops.  :2thumbsup:

I mean this in the most polite way possible, but I said earlier that I didn't want any suggestions for characters that have already been used in pairings, and the thread is not that long, so I have to assume you guys are skimming or not reading it. I am not trying to be snippy, just see it from my point of view. That being said:

Again, Wesker is already in one with Superman. Jin Kazama is in one with Jin Saotome. Chun-Li is in one with Lynn. Charlie is in one with Captain America, Snake and Vesper are in one together, and Det. Laurel is in one with Jill. See what I mean? I appreciate the interest and suggestions, but come on guys. Many of these are in the first post. :P

Your pairings of Chun-Li/Blaze and Hinata/Lynn make more sense in retrospect, but at this point I like the drawing I already made for Chun-Li/Lynn so much that I'm going to just keep it. Scorpion vs. Jedah is a good idea as well, and if I decide to do more of these, that will probably get done, along with Squall vs. Leo.

Like I said, that's if I decide to do any more. From page 3:

I'm still getting suggestions for people who have already been used for these (Mr. X, Ryu, K').

I did two more and will upload them in a bit, Superman vs. Wesker and Haggar vs. Axel. They're the last ones. That makes 11 or 12 I think, which is plenty for the intro.

Well I think if anything so long as you draw them individually that actually helps, like your CM Punk and Alex, as this means that you can always swap them around if you wanted to also. Also my apologies about the reiteration of certain characters, I didn't mean to repeat things, I did look at the list, and even used it to compare the ideas, that was more of my own personal thoughts on rivalries.

I'd like to help out if possible, I'm a fair bit busy with school, and like I said, I'll probably recolour and do the lineart in photoshop just for my own sake, but if you ever wanted help with it, even if it was just the bare outlines, I'd be more than happy to contribute, as in the end, it just speeds things along.

Preview of the big multi-character piece, with basic colors applied. I may move the side columns of characters out farther to show more of Doom and Bison and also some background (probably outer space, to match the game's theme). Also, K's fire will hopefully look better in the final version.

Clean up some of the visible pencil lines like on Bisons nose, but this is looking pretty good

With the Multi-Character piece, I think Jill's arms look a bit too beefy.  She has more of a slender build, not very muscular.  Also, Ken and Morrigan's faces look a little funky to me.  I think Ken's eye is too far from his nose, and Morrigan's face looks a little bit squished.  Everyone else is looking pretty badass though, good shit! 

@C-G-U:
The shadow on Alex should follow the contours of his muscles, particularly in his abs.  It should also have some change of direction as it hits his shirt, as it now looks like it's on a flat surface.  Also, the highlight on his tricep should curve the other way, shouldn't it?

I'll try fixing him up, I was just keeping it fairly simple, so I didn't really go too much into it, but I'll try and apply your suggestion to it and all of the following images I try and redraw

Truthfully I'm not sure which arm is the right arm for Megaman to shoot from, I saw some artwork where it was on the opposite side and so I flipped and coloured him that way, but there's some art where it's on the other arm...so...I dunno, but either way, I can always flip it around and reshade him again. Also I wasn't sure which version of Sonic you were aiming for, so I did a colour scheme for both, and then just kept the green eyes on the classic version which seems to work fine too.

Reduced the highlight on the closer arm, added a bit more minor detail to Alex.

That Alex is looking much better, nice work.  I'm pretty sure Mega Man can shoot from either hand, so it shouldn't matter.

Speaking of Tom & Jerry, I was making a comic of it but I made them fight in a ninja way (Ninja Assassin style) and other variety of styles (Cartoon, Anime, Movies, Videogames, TV, Comedy, etc.).

It's possible this may be all he will be doing, Sean replied to me already that he doesn't have the intention to make every rivaling pair, as he said it takes a lot of time away from working on the game itself. Can't guarantee it will be the last, but don't be surprised as it is.
