I should probably let you know that WizzyWhipitWonderful is making the music for the game. I really dig your stuff, that's why I used it for SHADEs 2. I don't want you to think I don't appreciate it.

If you want, you could make your own set of themes for the game and I could release 2 versions, one with your soundtrack and one with WWW's.

To be blunt, I simply like NB's work better than Wizzy as far as this project goes.  I think his style fits the game better.

I personally think i should Be The Arranger for Some of Wizzy Track, Dont get me Wrong, He Fucking Dope ass fuck, With Cps2 style or Not, If Does Cps2 Style then i can respect that froma Producer, I like Many Style I might Try in get Promising of Converting his CPS2 Tracks into more Arrange-ish Style

It's no problem; with you doing music also this OST will appeal to and attract a large number of people. It also makes the work more exciting knowing that there are different musical avenues with this project.  I enjoy working with everyone because it's a challenge;

It is no secret that I love WWW's compositions but damn c.v.s! Your tracks are getting really good lately! I remember when years ago your tracks were quite boring to me but these new ones are totally a beast. Totally digging that Karin remix.

I'm sorry if I come across as disrespectful.  Your music worked for that X-Men game cause it had a very 90s Capcomish, MVC type feel to it, so the CPS2 sound worked.  IMO since Sean is doing a crossover game it needs a different flavor.

I saw the reports about necro bumping in the Reports section. I just wanted to make it clear that since this is a Full-Game Board with a limited number of topics/threads, I'm not really concerned about necro bumps. Projects like these take a lot of time and threads are going to get old. I'm letting you guys know this so you won't report them any more, and so that you know that if you'd like to add an opinion or comment to any of these threads, don't worry about how old they are. It's fine. I don't want people to create their own threads here, so if they can't do that and they don't think they can comment on old threads, I may get less and less posts as time goes on. I do appreciate people looking out for this section, but really, I don't mind necro bumps because this isn't the same as the general forum. Thank you!

I don't think so, I have the excellent CPS2 themes from WizzyWhipitWonderful, and CVSNB was going to make remixes of them as well but I doubt he'll be doing that now. That's fine, Wizzy's work is fantastic anyway and will do just fine.

I like Wizzy's stuff a lot, which is why I was going to release two versions, one with his music and one with CVSNB's arrangements. I'll contact Wizzy about getting together all the themes, and then I'll send them to CVSNB so he can work on them when he can get to it.

Haven't heard your remixes before, but they're quite good, and for the sake of this project it'll be nice to have an option with the soundtrack (like with the old tekken games where you had the original arcade music and the console remixes)

Just swapped some of your tracks in the game with the few you've got made. I must say, it fits well.
It gives the fighting environment a different vibe, more so than the character, while Wizzy's tracks are character focused, and that's where they find their power.

If it were up to me, I'd have a little bit of each, to see if I could make it work somehow. I mean, Capcom's music history is diverse, and with this already being a crossover with the WORLD, why not try out different styles here?
The way I see it, CVS' has already done this in example: the Chun-li track = SF3-esque, parking lot theme = Tekken-ish, and urban stage = Capcom vs SNK-ish.

Sounds good man. You don't have to make character specific themes like Wizzy did, you can just make 8 stages themes (two are made already), Character Select, Intro, Main Menu/Title Screen, and a couple of short clips for the VS screen, Win Screen, and Game Over. The VS and Win screen can just be "stingers" from your other songs. If you do all that, I'll release a "Music Patch" that will swap the music out with yours, just for those interested.

Love the music, I'm planning to play it on my violin if possible, and I don't know lol if Capcom can take on the hard challengers from other dimensions, but yet I know only Akuma/Oni can owned them. And if anyone is offended by my post, I'm not judging everyone if Capcom can take over.

I really feel this have a nice SF3-ish vibe to them, I see that Loaded one as a potential one I'd use for NYC stage, and the Running one maybe for the Port stage, either way, cool stuff man, they sound pretty good.

Sounds great to me, I was hoping a couple of these would be a bit more uptempo.

That's 7 stage themes so far. All I need is one or two more stage themes, a character select theme, a fast/upbeat one for the intro and title screen, and something for the VS and victory screens. Then I could release an alternate sound pack for the game.

You don't need to do character themes, man. The game has over 40 characters and some of them keep fluctuating in and out. If you want to do the stuff I put above and then do character themes, that's cool. But I don't want you to have to make almost 50 songs for the game. That's crazy.
