Well Nesica got cracked,allowing people to "emulate" it,so it wouldn't suprise me if someone just netplayed off a hacked version that lets em play as the boss

Since I am deleting that gallery there today (gets replaced) I thought I share this important moment from November 2011 when I wrote that gallery with official art from Bloody Roar 2 just a few weeks after the Bloody Roar 5 hoax via twitter that was reported by big sites like Kotaku and many others.



May this gallery rest in peace and prevent that this crap will ever happen again.   Oh wait....

Nah. I was really just working on a new Bloody Roar 2 gallery today and had to copy some of the images from the old one from 2011 to the new one. I saw what I wrote there, remembered the Bloody Roar 5 rumors that happened here because of that fake twitter account and I found it funny and it reminded me how that MVC4 tweet some weeks ago by a random fgc guy caused just a lot articles and pages of forum posts about a possible MVC4.

Shinzankuro does the same thing because he is hyped just like I was for a new Bloody Roar back in 2011.

Its the same shit as back in then, just that it does not have an own thread now but is a flood of posts in the news thread. Are rumors even news?

If it's a sure thing it can get its own thread (I'll probably do the work of splitting all the rumor stuff from this one to boot) until then it's fine to post it in this one. I know you're perturbed because you think your news about obscure fighting games or whatever is getting overlooked, but those are the breaks.

A horror-themed fighter, Omen of Sorrow casts characters from myth and literature, with characters like Dr Hyde the Twisted Alchemist and Gabriel the Mongrel Knight fighting it out in traditional creepy locations like dingy laboratories and cathedral bell towers. From the short trailer and the artwork on its site, Omen of Sorrow draws major similarities to Killer Instinct with its character choices, drawing on classic horror tropes like the werewolf and the succubus to pad out its roster

Omen of Sorrow is a horror fighting game, in development since May 2015 by the best talent from SCL, with Art by the internationally acclaimed Genzoman (Double Dragon: Neon, Ultra Street Fighter IV, Hearthstone), Music by Francisco Cerda (Jamestown, Gunpoint).

 All the footage in the trailer is pre-alpha
