There is an adult version of Pokemon.  It's called Shin Megami Tensei and it actually came first.

 --;

That you consider Shin Megami Tensei to be related to Pokemon makes me sad.

If it makes you so sad then go cry me a fucking river or something.  Gamefreak themselves ADMITTED that Megami Tensei was an influence for the Pokemon games, but they added a multiplayer aspect to it.  QQ more.

I didnt play the first SMT games..and started with the spinoff Persona for the original Playstation. Persona 3 & 4, the 2 Devil Summoner PS2 games and also SMT Nocturne and the DDS games are similar in some ways indeed.  But there arent any multiplayer aspects or? And thats what makes pokemon so fun and interesting for many people or?

I'm sorry, but I still can't see the similarity between Megami Tensei and Pokemon.

You collect monsters which fight for /with you in both games.

In the persona games you collect the personas ..that are more or less the similarys i think
