Eh, none of them seem to me to have anywhere as much popularity as the original Tactics and Ramza. I wouldn't count on any of them myself, except Type-0 at most.

They were all featured in the second Theatrhythm game so S-E cares about them at least. In fact Curtain Call could be used as a hint on which characters they might put in this game.

Welp they gave Vaan a sword to start with instead of his halberd that he had in the psp games.

It's not just that they're popular, it's that Squenix recognises they're popular and pushes those games in new products, further driving their popularity. Like, when stuff like the iPhone apps comes out, the first major content adds are almost always from 7, 10 or 13.

I find it funnier that Lightning is above Cloud in 2 places but I'm happy my boy Zidane is in the Top 5.
