yeah I saw that, I thought I had replied, but I also had gotten message from MW with some cool shit I had him make.  I checked my sent folder and I did not reply, sorry about that man.

this also sounds awesome, are you going to add this to the projects folder?

I doubt a KOF/Add004 hybrid would be in projects, considering I need to talk to @Shiyo Kakuge: about this (If he replies).
I hoped for a while to make a decent size roster, but unfortunately there are some missing spots for a certain few characters, Chun-li is one (If JohnathanS releases that WONDERFUL SFZ Version), Cammy is another, and there are some characters that do not have any sort of repeat/alternate play styles, but wonder if I can add just an original game type with them (Mai for Example: I have classic, Koopakoot, and the last one is FatalFury Real Bout, but I still wonder if there is a KOF button version of her, and then..Haohmaru. Got Neogeo version in, but wonder if I can add the samsho versions to the mix..

I am so behind on everything in real life, I have been putting in a lot of hours at work, I am not sure when I can get around to it.
so far I have one of her SVC portraits perfectly resized to to fit in with 2003 style, Its going to mostly be pixel clean up and changes to the shading.

I thought kofe Kusanagi had longer hair and was shirtless, if this is the case it should take long for me to edit that in.
Sorry I keep missing commitments, I haven't had an down time since my last couple of releases.

Honestly I'd be willing to commission Efex on your behalf just to get these two done... At least if he is willing, I just don't have the time and I love the work he does on them.

Everyone except Tessa and Kusanagi are finished. Kusanagi is a bit trickier since I don't know exactly what his final look will be. I want to go shirtless, but that's a lot of extra spriting for the game's spriters to do.

What makes Kusanagi Kusanagi is the Voice Actor, Dark Skin and Classic Look. No need to break your head thinking what to change.

Maybe an extra intro or winpose to add character to hims would do the trick, or use the rare alternate 98 Stance.

looks like you are getting better, still need to work on the shading though... seems kinda like pillow shading in some places but again, you are getting better at this.

I also came to post this to have some feedback on it as well, I have been working on her for some time now.  sorry it took so long, been having some real IRL problems and portrait work always seems to take a back seat when that happens.

I try to improve little by little although there is not much change
I know that I need to improve almost the same thing but try to focus on the clothes this time

You are getting better at the hair, what you need to work on is finding where your light source is, for kof 2003 portraits the light shines from the top right so that should determine how your shading should go, I will provide a visual when I get home.

Although a good example to look at would be Shen's portrait for this job.




noticed the difference when we make the side by side comparisons?
the issue is the shading based on where the light is shining from.
