Recovered a char and now the SFF file isn't working

A virus once attacked my computer, and luckily enough attacked my mugen. I was developing a char for a month and got pissed at losing my work, after a while I learned about something called the EaseUS Data Recovery Manager. (It recovers deleted files.) After I recovered my char, I reloaded it into FF3, but now every time I load that particular char into FF3, it doesn't work.
Btw, I singled it out to the .sff file, I'm sure thats where the problem is.

Edit: The program is actually called the EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard, not sure if that helps

There are better recovery tools around there.You should use them easeus not totally recovers your files unfortunately.I used it.
