I have been for the most part... but I gotta bitch about it to someone, lol.
Welp, you've got me for that Take your time man. I know how it feels when you're totally out of motivation
Lol, I'll take that into serious consideration. I think I'll come back with a character from a series I've never publicly done before. We'll see though.

We'll see though.I'll also be sure to send you that low res stage once I manage to re-make it Problem is, that my school was unofficially closed for 2 months due to the political crisis in my country so they're basically murdering us with school work right now. I have one day weekends now So I don't get enough time to work on mugen stuff for a while, though I'll make it at some point
Motivation is always like that. You have to wait sometimes wich gives you better ideas and all. I'm sure you'll have great releases when you are there again. Also, a character wich you never never made publicly is great. That will be excellent there.
Legend Ivanhoe said, February 20, 2014, 05:23:20 pmHell yes. It's been a while. Orochimaru's Lair is done. Next up is the Rocks stage. I'm not sure really what I'm going to do with that one, but I might make night and day into one stage. Meh, we'll see.
Day into Night transitions are fairly easy coding wise as long as the sprites aint all RGB'd. For some help, if you need it, you should check out Cafe Diss by Dissidia or Avalon by MarkPachi. They did some good transitions man

Well, it took a lot of consideration, but to avoid even more nightmares, I decided to keep the stages separate. Here was the result of the revamp: Posted: May 15, 2014, 02:06:47 amThat leaves Hills, Konoha Village, and Forest of Death to be revamped and given interactivity of some sort. Three more! Afterwards, I'll be focusing on character gameplay and possible effect do-overs.
Haha, will do. Something I realized about Konoha: It doesn't really have areas that would look right standing on them. You know, there's railings on the roofs of buildings and they're too far in the background. Not sure what I'm going to do with that.
Konoha Comp:The clouds roll across the sky slowly, covering the sun which shines through, creating subtle rays over the entire stage. To create more contrast, the foreground has been color corrected with a little deeper highs and lows. Hokage Mountain in the back has been darkened by a bit and blurred to keep in out of focus. This also saves the background from the pixelation that existed before. I think it's a lot less ugly now.In terms of platforms, there's nothing here that could really work for that kind of thing. NZC stages were designed that way, but this is from a different game. I might add something else to create some stage interactivity, but that's unconfirmed. Personally, I think it's fine without it. Not every stage needs to have same or even similar functionality. In MUGEN:As you can see here, the buildings are too far back to make the tops of them platforms. It wouldn't look natural. What do you think?
I'm just glad that you're back. You could edit the 'movable food cart' in the back, add some wooden boxes and put them in random places at the same level (zoffset) as the chars. Or you can just leave it as it is (i would recommend to add some birds on that beautiful sky).Like this:Sprites:
Hey Ivanhoe, yep I'm back (kind of). It's been on and off. I'll see what I can do about random objects; maybe a few crates. I don't know if birds will work their either. Seems kind of out of place and this a tall stage. Normally, you wouldn't see them. Posted: May 18, 2014, 04:40:17 amI did some testing with a crate today and it just seems like it's going to be too much trouble. Mugen doesn't have the capabilities I need to really bring something like that to life. Konoha will be released without any stage-interactivity.
