Have a suggestion...How about a defensive move like Dhalsims Yoga Tower from SF4 (Dhalsim stands high on one of his legs, this will avoid quite a lot of mid and low attacks along with throws and projectiles, lower body invincibility of this move doesn't last too long)?Finn could stand on Jake and he would stretch his legs?

I can actually separate palettes, as well as code him. Spriting is really all you'd need to do, unless it's your preferences.
Started with the kicks, light kick to be more preciseoh and i have moved his left eye (artist side) a pixel to the right on all his previous sprites... it makes a whole difference and looks more accurate -Edit- oh... so something about his proportions has been bugging me a long time and i finally figured it out...I have to make him taller, enlarge his torso 3 or 4 pixels and make his legs to be at the middle of his bodySo i guess its... REVAMP TIME!!!! (with sad face and grumpy noises)
Ok, so heres how Finn should look from now on...Should i name him Finn and jake z2 now? (just kidding) Ill see how many previous anims could be saved and converted properly, basic punches and kicks wont be a problem i guess.Ill scrap the sword attack probably... never fully liked aniway.All this revamp thing could be have been avoided if i payed more attention to actual proportions rather than just spriting over small sprites that need to be modified to look good in the Ds...so that been said... less tracing and more hand drawing from now on!!! ò-ó (or if i trace i should be more carefull with proportions)
He looks better, although the old version is still really nice. I must be honest: I like the old eyes better. Would you concider keeping them? They are much better visable with 2 pixels thick. They kind of fall away at just 1 pixel.
I was having trouble deciding that too... but i usually play fullscreen on mugen when things look bigger.Look at Marceline and Pb sprites i did earlier, they seem to work for them.But dont worry, the eyes will change a lot during anims and attacks:Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyJust like in the show, spontaneus eyebrowns appear when needed.I want to give him weird and funny faces like in thw show (Im revamping the smart pallete for now, ill try to test some of these faces later )Edithttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mg3fYnzUKCMsome "laters" later:
Stance revampedLol they blink to often, well its just this anim timing, they should blink less time per cycle in the final version
