No screens for now but Ive been thinking of how to implement his V-moves from SFV.

I think I will add both trigger and the enhanced focus attack variations in a single mode.

V-Trigger (HK+HP) will not be a special mode to be activated for a short period of time, instead both triggers will be usable at any point as long as at least half of the V gauge is full (and of course will consume said half V gauge), the V gauge requires 80% damage taken to fully charge.

Raging demon will require a full V-gauge and will consume it on activation.

V-reversal will require half v-gauge as well.

Focus attack (MP+MK) will be his trigger 1 version permanently but i will increase the charge time to balance it a bit.

As for commands im thinking as follows:

- HP+HK: Misogi
- HP+HK + Fwd or Back: Ashura senku (teleport)
- MP + MK: Senha Kassatsu (trigger 1 version)

I have sprites for his original V move before it was updated and he was given another one in sfv

Yeah this time around I can see Kage as a pretty swell Evil Ryu addition. I can't wait to see the end result Vyn.

ive made my fair share of evil shotos but i can tell you this one is the most original so far, mostly because sfv kage is quite different from other evil ryus.

Last night I worked on his Shoryuken, Ryusokyaku, and Kurekijin, all of them have custom sprites to mimic his sfv moveset. Hopefully I will finish them today and post some screens.

The ones I have are the V-reversal sprites, its the last custom
set Sabockee sent me for my ryu

Thats really a neat concept man, wish we had a decent sprite patch for him. Something, a little different to give him that evil toned. Food for thought, other than that keep it rocking.

Kage's Messatsu-Goshoryu always looked cool in SFV, and so do both of his supers. I'm VERY interested in how they'll look in the MUGEN Engine, so keep it up!  ;D :goi:

yup, working on a custom stance, its pretty stiff right now but its getting there

Shakunetsu hadoken is here :), this is easily my best looking projectile ever



even colored it blue just to see how it looks, and it looks pretty cool



oh and the intro is done as well

Had to look up Kage (I like saying "Cage" though I know that's not how it's pronounced) and noticed a lot of people are upset with him. I think he's pretty cool, regardless if he's another shoto character.

Loving this new character from you. Can't wait to see how neat he's gonna be when he's done ^..^

These specific effects, as far as I can see, are a combination of 2 layers: addition overlay and subtraction underlay.
But I still double that request, Vyn, since you're somehow making your own stuff and its awesome (or even older stuff better).

But yeah, it seems that you've got something wrong with that Hadoken effect. Maybe it's the GIF's f*ck up, but in the last frames of Hadoken's Vanishing it turns in the mesh of multicolored pixels. As I said, that MIGHT be the problem of GIF.
P.S.: how about to use a SuperPause styled EX Moves, as you did with your Normal Ryu? Please?
