I'm going to take the next step by seeing what you guys have to say regarding monthly recognition. Everyone seems to be content with just Stages, but I have seen a few varied replies that include Screenpacks.

I will also keep rules pretty much the same as Character of the Month with nominations/voting, etc. I'll begin setting things up after the dust settles here with the intention of starting up nominating possibly by the first or second week of March. You guys have until Wednesday to vote!! I also decided to keep things simple and omit the unnecessary fluff, like tools and palettes (I.E. Wildcards) at this time. If more demand should come up for those, then more voting will happen for sure.

Stage of the month sounds great. alot of stages are being released nowadays.
not enough screenpacks get released in a month to gain any recognition. screenpack awards should be yearly if considered, IMO.

Screenpacks yearly then, I kind of have an idea going on for them already but not so sure.

Screenpacks should be yearly and stages, i guess they can be monthly but we should still continue with that stage competition.

In theory, it sounds good. But it could also get crazy with all of the different nominations and whatnot. At this point, I think Stage of the Month looks like the final call with a yearly recognition of miscellaneous entries, like tools and screenpacks, I.E. wildcard stuffs.

Looks like the vote is clear: I'm going to start setting things up for a slightly shorter (10 days as opposed to 15 days for February only) Stage of the Month Thread/Child Board.

I'm shooting for nominations to be made real come next Wednesday or Thursday. Thanks for everyone's vote!! :2thumbsup:

I'm thinking just for February, but you bring up an interesting point. Perhaps for the first ever Stage of the Month, we could include both January and February.
