Iced, I think your 3rd stance kinda resembles: http://www.fightersgeneration.com/characters2/iori-orochi-cvs-stance.gif which is a great stance for Kid Buu I think, but also hard to transist.also here's some of my ideas:also what about this one?
Don't worry guys, we'll figure this out . I combined a few things.I like Iced's idea to have his arms go limp after a few cycles in idle. And the dance is perfect for a winpose or taunt And eventually both lower:
I like the idea of having a relaxed stance, something like the K' example, but I think it would look good if he glances off to the side every so often.Don't remember if it stayed this way in the anime, but the manga's Super Buu was pretty quiet (before absorbing anyone) and didn't move around a lot. You couldn't really read what he was thinking. You couldn't even if he was intelligent. It made him sort of creepy in that way.
I think the arms look better if they appear more relaxedThou in this stance, the light punch should be something like an elbow performed by raising his right arm (Artist right)
the arms definitely need to be a little more buff in some areas, but I think that might be the most fitting stands for his fighting style and character.when I think of his fighting style, I think of a lazy, hot headed monkey style. Almost like when he's not being serious, he uses quick, simple things like an elbow attack. When he's mad, his attacks are slow, wild, and strong.

Either that, or have him sway lazily.
I think this could be a good stance for him since the other ones fit more kid buu, also remember in the manga he only has an index finger and his thumb the other fingers are merged together
I'm all for this! Who cares if it's a bit Kid Buu-ish, this serves Super Buu just as well. And having the fingers the way Balmsold described (a glove hand pretty much with just the thumb and merged fingers) I think will be pretty neat, makes him even more unique, PLUS it's easier to sprite/animate. Win win if you ass me!
The problem of having a stand up animation is that super bu is freaking tall, it would clash with other chars height imo. Also i like the merged finguers better too.If the stance i did is used, i would recomend an up and down bouncy motion
Height is not an issue if the character has a slightly crouching stance, like Dr.Baldhead in Guilty Gear.Besides, you can do the jump animations like Anakaris from Vampire Savior, in which the legs shrink while keeping the same upper body size. Certainly it will fit for a bubblegum-based monster
