[Party] said, July 22, 2011, 04:17:14 pmEven until this day and age, the gore fighting genre hasn't been properly addressed. Mortal Kombat is a joke, every step of the way it has been walking towards becoming a gory Saturday morning cartoon NOT to be taken serious. We were supposed to take Mortal Kombat seriously?c001357 said, July 22, 2011, 06:08:45 pmQuote@IcezkubeNo, we hate the "mirror matches" concept. The two players can't choose the same character.wat? Mirror matches have become a staple in fighters by now. I know they look "odd" but how else would we know who can better use a particular character.

I know they look "odd" but how else would we know who can better use a particular character. That's not even the main concern. If me and my buddy main the same character, why should we be forbidden to use him or her in a mirror match if only for fun? There's no practicality behind this reasoning, only mere aesthetics.
I wouldn't be surprised if they were too lazy to give characters something like....palletes.Damn, so much for Windows Plasma and Red Leach.

[Party] said, July 22, 2011, 04:17:14 pmTo me, this is a serious attempt to explore the genre in a different fiction settingSomeone missed the fatality videos from this game c001357 said, July 22, 2011, 06:08:45 pmQuote@IcezkubeNo, we hate the "mirror matches" concept. The two players can't choose the same character.lol this game is dead before its even shippedHAHA! Oh boy! They could aleast use a stupid trick like in sonic: the fighters, just make the second player use a shadow/greyscale palette or something! Jesus!

This game actually CAN'T be taken seriously with that nonsense they call a Death Rip lol. The character design is awful as well, the only one I could consider decent is the badass agent, but he has an awful gimmick to go with it.
well...uh....want gameplay? too bad have thisoh right, forgot my nitpicks. the chest expansion effect is just a cheap pinch/punch effect from sony vegas so leach's hair expands with it. and that's one hell of a passive reaction to getting your entire chest blown open.lastly the blood is shooting out of his back instead of from in front but uh...i guess that....i dunno...
from a comment on plasma's deathrip vid:QuoteTo people who don't come to the channel. The demo has been delayed 3 days. So, it will be released on August 4th. It will not feature Leach (we hope that they're fixing those edition issues we saw on his final 1st deathrip), only Plasma. We can only hope that the game is still on course to be fully released by the end of the year. Somehow, I doubt that. :/these guys are PRO at this
-Demo delayed and will only include Plasma.-No mirror matches were confirmed.WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?
HAHA IMAGINE THE DEMO ENDS UP BEING THAT STAGE DEMO WHERE YOU WALK ALONE IN A STAGE PUSHING BUTTONS LIKE IN THAT VIDEO POSTED A MONTH AGOHoly shit what kind of demo these guys wanna release?
The demo will just have the opponent instantly defeated and you get to test out the Deathrips.CALLING IT.
