How many buttons does SS6(source game) have? What does the sheet look like? What is available? What do you have to work with? (3button char?etc)Do you know person asking before suggesting what you did? This character "in particular" has more than enough usable assets, but did you research this beforehand?

How many close, & or command normals does the character have? What can you sacrifice? Changing a forward overhead into a normal could completely change the playstyle, but what is your goal for the playstyle itself?(This is your pool, where you get artificial)

Sprites. (In this instance) Samsho characters range from good to bad very very quickly. Sometimes ranging from 3-4 frames in a heavy attack.
Chop, Chop. Consider the struggle of the assets we actually have available to us, if we can't afford to pay.. 100s of dollars for one animation to be fixed up.

Custom animations? Who is making them or do they just fall out of an anus.(Whenever I see anything that insinuates "make custom" not "I'll make them", sorry this is what I think") OP likely doesn't care & maybe they can who knows.
There is a lot more that goes into it, but really depends on your knowledge & your goal. Some of you are causal gamers, some more hardcore, each of you has their own outlook & opinions of these things so shouldn't judge too harshly for thinking differently. While one would stress clsn, another would simply overlook it and focus on combos etc, etc. Just feel like some of you request things with no real idea of what actually goes into it. I used spoilers as to not completely derail this, but it is still something that could potentially help you all. Or you could actually help one another & help each other improve.
