If it's uploaded on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, it will be taking off immediately. As for the other sites, I'm not sure.
It's not just social media that's gonna get affected by this. Any website could be monitored. This isn't a good thing, because if YouTube is any proof that copyright laws can be abused, then this is just a wider scale version of that. This is essentially shooting your whole country in the foot.
so basically EU is turning into china?and i assume these "monitoring" if you break any copyright laws are just a front for authorities to wiretap people with little consequence and to add a loop hole in the system to even make it legal.
It's been a great 25 years internet, enjoyed the ride.But this is maybe a problem of the EU being a body unregulated by its population (apparently the governing body is self appointed?). Lobbying is a big factor in America, but I would like to hope that congress will think of its constituents above mega corporations. Cynicism is bad for the heart.
