Just recently, I have watched the original 1980s versions of Prom Night and My Bloody Valentine and pretty much developed an addiction to seeing dumb teenagers being bumped off one by one. A french movie called "Martyrs"Ain't exactly a slasher per se, but it has a couple of bloodbaths, and some fucked up shit.
French Martrys is indeed both disgusting & mindfucking. I also recommend another french movie called "À l'intérieur" (Inside) from 2007, one of the best horrors I've seen this year and that saying alot cuz lately most horrors I've seen lately, were pretty bad and I'm not fan of slasher genre. There is also nice The Collector from 2009 and it's sequel The Collection from 2012. really nice ones and intriguing too. Currently waiting for third one. And there is Hostel trilogy which was famous at one point. And there is Hellraiser series which is like 8-9 movies but it's must-see for any slasher fan. Doug Bradley is absolutely mind blowing as Pinhead. And last The Midnight Meat Train (2008) with Bradley Cooper. really great with action, stuff and great ending,
