Street Fighter X Mega Man Update Coming To Address Issues

Street Fighter X Mega Man, a fan-game supported and released by Capcom for free, has some issues. Users on the Capcom message boards have brought to attention complaints regarding crashes, the inability to save, and other things that could do with improvements.

In reply to these comments, Capcom’s Senior Vice-President, Christian Svensson, says that he’ll bring these issues up with the game’s development group, and that an update patch will be coming to address them in the future.

Additionally, in another thread on the forums, Svensson says that Street Fighter X Mega Man has exceeded his personal expectations of the game. Keep in mind that this is a free game, though, so expectations being exceeded in this particular case may not mean a whole lot.

Wonder if waiting to complete it might be a good idea now, not that I haven't done a bit, but I don't want to keep it open 24/7.

Were you one of those people? If not, I don't see why it should matter seeing as Street Fighter x Tekken is a fighting game.

Actually I went through all your vids because I didn't feel like DL/playing the game (but still was curious about my 2 fave charas, Rose and Urien) and I did feel like "Oh this guy already reached the robot master at 2 minutes and the vid is 8 minutes long? IT'S GONNA GET GOOD!"

AND it never did get good. It was just several failed attempts to defeat the boss. While it is an honest run, it's definitely not a good one in absolute terms, and also a waste of time for the viewer. One could easily convert your footage into an "ok" run by editing all the faliures, and making a more compact video with just the relevant action.

Still, thanks for taking the time.
I noticed the original creator of the game posted a comment on one of your vids, so congrats :P

I couldn't believe the news when it appeared, so I downloaded to see how's this game going, but I didn't play it until my birthday...

OMG, I felt like a 8 years old!! SFxMM has all the classic feel of first games and I loved how SF chars were converted to MM style and how the stages really fit the chars. I felt like I got back to my childhood when I played MM2, 3 and 5, too awesome. And the SF2 theme in 8-bit version is lovely :D

Yeah, I think I can make my own playthrough with this game, maybe soon :P

PS: Anyone noticed that Megabuster is the MM4 one??
