Hi everybody, before focusing entirely on Gohan Z2, wev'e decided to resume the update for our main Z2 characters released up to now. :D
This 3-in-1 update includes a lot of new stuff for everybody, fixes, AI and color separation for SSJ Goku, etc.

Here's a patch that fixes :
- Beam collision super portrait for SSJ Goku
- Genkidama Lv3 for Goku Z2.

Time for me to drop something here! I'll likely be back for more during today or later once I go in deeper.

Goku
- General improvements seem good so far, I'll mess around more with his projectiles but they weren't my main focus here.
- EX Snap Kick still comes out too fast. At most, certain characters can dodge it with a very small frame window.

Vegeta
- Good improvements on his overall approaching options, he's not nearly as bad as before.
- Downwards air projectile(I forgot the name already, heh) needs a bit of a draw to it. Given that you want it as a combo-move, I'd make it have less blockstun but keep the hitstun(AKA if it hits the enemy it has the same hitstun, but blockstun should be reduced). Just to compensate for the landing out of it being seamless. I'd give the downwards Galick Gun a landing state too, since it doesn't really start combos, and it wouldn't have a big impact on how the flow of the move worked.


More to come potentially, good job on the update so far!

But are there truly grown men in this world?!

def for goku 1.0 is loading with goku having no speech on his attacks taunts etc, is that normal?

I replaced the snd line with the same from the normal def and that one works.

Is there any way you can put back the Forbidden Genkidama in GokuZ2? Maybe with new sprites or something...

Stop doing like Balthazar and overriding your old version. Make a clean install. Do you install Windows 8 on top of Windows 95 ? There is no 1.0 DEF for Goku. There hasn't been for one or two years. There is no separation between 1.0 and Winmugen. >:(

Nope.
Well actually, open state-2-3.cns and set var(48) to 1 instead of 0, and see what happens. I can't guarantee the character won't have bugs though, so don't complain. :P

We took out Forbidden Genki Dama along with all his other SSJ references, because we were doing a seperate SSJ Goku anyway.
And I wasn't really happy with how the move turned out.

SSJ Goku's beam collision portrait is messed up.



Also, I know you've both got a lot on your plate but any plans for a Mr. Satan update? (At least coding wise?)

Oops I guess BlueSun forgot to apply the palette seperation to that sprite!

Well personally, I don't feel like working on Satan anymore at all :P We got this out of the way so we can finish Gohan in time for dinner Christmas!
By the way, beta testing on him shouldn't be too far away, so get your fingers ready, BPTM2694!

*Also, I stil think Vegeta's aerial Machine Gun Temper needs to be unsafer. He really abuses it a lot, his AI. Now he is just allowed to jump over you and shoot it, forcing you to block, and he can land and start whaling on you before giving you time to react, you NEED to keep blocking. This is also when he throws you. Which you obviously CAN'T block. Which is fine, but Vegeta does it way too often, it gets really annoying.
I overall like the agressiveness of his AI, but this is still too much. He needs to have one or two more flaws. His aerial Machine Gun Temper is the worst offender still, it's too easy for the AI to abuse it.

This is Awesome man. İ will definitly try this out and report bugs but, as İ can see there are lots of fixes so, it might be hard to find some really.

Nice job, guys!! I really like your work. Vegeta is awesome. :)

I noticed something. Japanese voices are really low, they need much more volume for Goku and SSJ Goku. This is less a problem for Vegeta (a little bit, but not as for the 2 others).

Keep the flame burning, Z2 team!

Goku Z2 (just this for now):
- it might be a custom state issue, but after the Kaioken Rush (and Genkidama input, then he blasts the enemy that falls) there's a japanese sound. Maybe it was already reported, excuse me for that.

Another thing: there's just Kami Sama prize, there was another one, Kame Sennin. (in the prize folder)
