wow,you really are psychic!!!
1.i thought of posting a couple of days ago about a stage with mk2's dead pool hooks,& here's Silo.
quick,i'm thinking of a number between 1 & 100.lol.
i really like silo,& the stage MvP9119 added to all his gif files!!!
i didn't think it was possible to create anything original by using old mk stages,but i guess i was wrong.
i can't wait to play them.
i know you have a lot of people working on this.so,i doubt anyone would be that interested in this.
have you ever heard of Bejeweled2 from popcap.com?

the game is not that unique(although a lot of people use the same lightning effect for mugen.however,i prefer real lightning digitized),but the backgrounds are great.
some of the lighter ones can be used for edinia style stages(not necessary for this project),& the darker ones can be used for outword,or netherrealm.

also,i always wanted to see a stage with black sand,or like Red moon desert.(1 of your desktop wallpapers.)

i tried to do something very similar:
i googled bunch of pics of lightning,water,fire,& other in order to make unique lifebars for each fighter.ofcourse,i failed,because i'm not a programmer.
for example:
raiden:real lightning.
fire god/blaze:real burning fire/real flowing lava.(lava drips on the floor like blood when hit.)
water god:real pics of moving water from rivers.(water drips on the floor like blood when hit,& turns into steam when hit with fire attacks.it should float off screen.also freezes.)
scorpion:real femur(leg bone) with rotting,& burned chunks of flesh/meat on it.(when hit,pieces of bone/rotting/burned flesh break off,& fall on the floor.at random times,lava drips out of the bone on the floor,& sometimes small amount of smoke comes out of the bone.)
smoke:cigarette.lol,just kidding.i haven't decided-either ash like at the end of a cigarette,or actual smoke.(if ash,when hit it falls on the floor,if smoke,when hit it floats off screen.)
reptile/khameleon(i haven't decided):real pic of an anaconda with a huge reptile eye.(like in lost world jurassic park playstation1)(when hit,chunks of snake skin fall off.like it's shading.)
cyber ninjas:fat motorcycle chain/circuits.(when hit,pieces of chain fall off.link by link,or more.depending on the amount of damage taken.if circuit,when hit,electric short circuits pass through it.like,wright before fatality when they are dizzy,& twitching.)
sub-zero:icycle.(when hit,pieces of ice break off,& fall to the ground.if hit by fire attacks,it should turn to steam,& float off screen.)
also,i like what (1 of them:Thedge/Cybaster/Jesuszilla,i can't remember which.please let me know if anyone remembers.) did with sub-zero:

when his blood hits the floor.it turns to ice.(a sound fx like ice particles hitting glass window during rain/snow couldn't hurt either.)
you would need to ask for owner's permission in order to use it.(if you want to use it though.)
ofcourse,all this stuff is for the final version.if,& i do mean if you want to do something really unique with the lifebars like you did with the rest of the game.
3.speaking of sub-zero...
i don't know who is working on him,but please someone finally give him some real moves!!!
a.icicle:like when-lui kang threw water at him from the bucket,& it killed him in the movie.(sub already uses a big upward 1 for his fatality.)why not a smaller one for an attack.
instead of his ice freeze an icicle hits and "damages" (yes,i said damages) the opponent.
can be done forward,(also in the air) upwards,(also in the air for high jumps)& downwards
(also in the air for a nice icicle through the skull.lol.on the ground,instead of slipping.it goes through the foot of the opponent,& nails him to the ground.so,the opponent can't move for a second,or two.)
b.hail:round pieces of ice the size of a quarter.just like above,they can be done-forward,upward,
downward,& all 3 in the air.plus,like his ice shower.
basically,mythologies style,& most of the sprites can be used from his regular attacks.(please,still use all of the original attacks.just different props for different attacks.)

it's a logo for some bicycle company.so,it doesn't need to look exactly like it.think more like krull,or turok:dinosaur hunter.
d.please get rid of the double freeze coming back on sub-zero,or at least include a text file on what to delete/nullify.

Not to worry much of what you posted (I can't believe I read it :p) I've all ready planned and considered. It's all in the works, just we have lots to do to achieve it :P LOL

Thank you for your contribution surge, I'll note you in the credits for this find/contribution. I am thinking this could be a good dessert stage? Maybe if recolored?

Also I saved the Reptile idea pic, it looks as if it's to big for conventional stages but it might be a blessing in disguise as the background sky could be more useful?

I assure you we have something spectacular all ready and it's damn impressive even though it's just a very early demo. Everyone on this project has put in 100% and more.  :sugoi:

1.again,sorry for the long post.i just didn't want to bother you individually about every 1 of them.all at once seemed like it would relate a lot better.
2.please,please don't put my name in the credits.
i'm afraid it would only attract haters flaming out,& attacking you.
i don't want recognition.i just want the game to be finished!!!
3.mkp?...no,i'm just sad it never got released.
4.if you want to use that red background.it's fine by me.yeah,it does look like a dessert stage.i was thinking exact same thing.
if you want,use the sky from reptile's background.
as i said,"last time i saw stages this good was in mk2."
i don't want to interfere with the natural process since you guys are doing so amazingly!!!!
i just thought,this stuff seems to fit the game.

Okay not giving up on Kung Lao, I'll keep trying until I get it right.



So I figured in the story they become the same guy why not use both characters to create him? Just another idea for him, it's still unofficial and still in the works. Maybe it's good or maybe it deserves another try.

Okay not our best coding but a good substitute that works well enough, I have noticed that the letterbox cannot be layered on top of the lifebars but I see it as a minor thing right now, at least it's in there. I do believe however that it can be coded within the character to work layered over the lifebars and will be corrected in our second release ;)

I won't suspect anything though I'll take it she was sleeping and didn't notice
