Not sure if this has been posted yet, but right now you can get a Regirock, Registeel and Regice from Pokemon Bank if you've registered to it. All of them have Hidden Abilities. Regirock has Sturdy, Regice has Ice Body and Registeel has Light Metal. Nice hidden abilities they have there.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure what the guy above me is saying isn't actually available until tomorrow?

Might be a time-zone thing, it's still the 3rd where I am.

I can't wait to see what info that day holds. Hopefully it'll be the decision-maker for me what version to buy.

I'm more intrigued at how Pokemon Bank will function with Gen 1, but probably no details until E3.

What might happen is pokemon from Gen 1 (and maybe Gen 2 and 3 in the future) will transfer to the bank.
What interest me is many pokemon from Gen 1 can learn moves that they can't now, like charazard learning seismic toss.
Will they keep it or will the bank remove it? Hopefully they get to keep it.

They've specifically stated it to be Gen VII on some press release thing. That, and Bulbapedia seems to think it's Gen VII.

I'm more curious as to how they'll handle the difference in EV/IV formulas.

Oh, I want a diagram. I fucking love diagrams.

Well the homebrew I -> III converter just doubles IVs (since they went from 16 to 32), but the issue with Stat EXP in Gen I & II is that you could boost all 5 stats by 63 points instead of the global 127 point limit, 63 per stat from R/S onwards. They could either reset the EVs for that Pokemon or try and think of some crazy formula to redistribute them and accommodate for the special split.

Since genders and shinies aren't in the games they don't have to worry about generating a PID that keeps each of them the same yet. (though I bet they might re-roll if the game generates a PID that would turn out shiny)

I wonder how it'll effect the Pokemon's nature though, since those weren't introduced until Gen III.

That's gonna be a major problem... as well as distributing EVs since you can have 65535 EVs in EVERY single stat. I don't how are they gonna pull this one off.

What if they're going back to gen 1 stats to give psychic, normal, and rock types a buff. Lord knows how long it's been since Tauros and Jynx were things anyone would even consider putting on a team. :3c

Is Mega Rayquaza full banned or is it just nowhere near as dumb in doubles?

It's viable especially with PrimeOgre.  Even got into Top 8 by one player at a regional.

This is nothing new, but did not expect for it to be 20XX already.

Hidden Ability is Friend Guard which boosts your partner Pokémon's defenses.

Also random Aegislash got lucky.
