May I ask something, without getting everyone's hopes up? (Which is the reason I'm not posting this in its own thread):

Would anyone be interested in SSF4 Metsu-Shoryuken sprites for SF3 Ryu? I mean, I know he has his Shin-Shoryuken already, but... I always wanted to see what a 2D Metsu could look like and thought, what better option that to TRY to sprite him myself?

The only thing that's holding me back is the shading... I have to idea how to start shading but I'm hoping that as long as I provide the lineart, someone can just go ahead and color it (Yes, I know, that's the hardest part...). If not, I'll do it myself.

I won't call myself the best CPS3 spriter here, far from it, but I am interested in your proposal.
I've seen your dragonball flipbook animation on youtube and it looks pretty sweet ;)
So I'm sure you can provide some nice line-art.
Making those SF3 Ryu sprites as official as possible will be a nice challenge, and I can always call Diepod for help :)
So let's go :D! Let's see what you got ;)

Man, that DBZ animation actually looks infinitely better in the original file... The upload to Youtube made it lose TONS of frames... anyone know how to fix that?

The animation sketches for the Metsu Shoryuken are actually finished already... I've just finished 2 sprites and they're looking very official already (sans color).

I'm a big fan of your work, man. Knowing I've got your support is all the motivation I need to finish it

There's a lot of Slow-motion in that Ultra, so if I skimp on frames, it'll look choppy... I tried to reduce it as much as I could but I figured, if I'm gonna do it, better make it look as good as possible. SF3-quality animation is a big thing to live up to. I also want it to look as legit as possible, which means little-to-no movement-blur, like you used in your Goku (who animates super-smoothly, don't get me wrong).

Actually, it's more like 30 frames now that I think about it... I have the existing standing pose at the beginning and two existing Shoryuken sprites at the end just to see it all together... Those don't really count since I'm not really spriting them.  :P

Well... I screwed up...

All the animation rough sketches showed a very nice animation, transition was nice and everything...

I'm halfway done with the final lineart sprites, and I decide to compare sprite 15 to sprite one... I don't know how I managed to do this, but: "Honey!" I've shrunk Ryu!"

Now I have to redo a whole bunch of sprites, just to make his body bigger... Sure, you can't tell during the animation, but I'm sure it'll be very noticeable when he's next to another character....

Progress was 50 percent... now it's back to 25 percent. I say 25 because it's not going to be so hard since I have the smaller sizes as reference... strangely enough too, that his feet are the correct size in all frames.
