Average damage for a normal/special projectile

I've been thinking that having my character Hadouken's Projectile Absorber's absorption value not being linked to the amount of damage of the absorbed projectile is unfair.

For example SSBB Ness' PK Fire has enough hitframes to fully power Hadouken's Projectile Absorber plus some, yet the total damage for that one projectile is about 300 damage.

Now each successful absorption adds .057 to his AttackMulSet state controller and the full power stops at .57, making a normally 200-280 damaging combo do 480-530ish.

So I'm asking help from you guys to determine a base to work with on setting a fair absorption rate. :sugoi:
