Idk if it's just me, but that fist blur looks really odd. Like how the trail starts much further back from where his armband originates, and how his hand doesn't look like it's flopping enough for the two different blur angles to look convincing.Besides that, looking good!! Love seeing new progress on this guy
Everything is looking awesome, as always. I think you're going a bit too heavy on his pectorals, especially on the jump kick animation.
I love the sprites, i don't really like the transitions from idle to attack(maybe they lack a frame or two?). Other than that i don't really quite get the shading you're applying to his body, some parts of his body are shaded with a coherent understanding of the light source and some aren't like his left side (arm and leg) or the pectorals. Why are the pecs shaded to seem darker than the abs?

For the air kick, the "falling frames" are kind of ugly and they should be redrawn (they're quite old now). For the pecs I tend to overuse the 2nd darkest shade, so I can cut that down a bit.
I notice a lot of the attack animations lack a sense of pivoting. Punches require turning hips and shoulders. Of course Buu isn't natural so... idk.Also its a bit too easy to see which frames are copied and shifted. I'm sure HQ knows what I'm getting at.
