I also feel that Warusaki's version did it justice (with exception to the shoryuken wanna be) in that it made sense in the grounded cvs-esque scenario.  Considering how over the top, the moves were in MvC in looks, I was fine with them being supers only, especially since the other moves W3 gave him were from NamcoXCapcom. 

Some suggestions, if I may, as I don't use discord.

Make normal Captain Fire air only (as a nod back to his original arcade) while keeping Captain Buster (the move W3 gave him for the fireball motion), and make the super version like W3.  Since Captain Corridor had 2 variations in MvC (one version he does in front of him, the other it surrounds him), make the normal one act like Lightning Upper in front of him, and the other like W3.  I don't believe he should have strikers, as he doesn't need them.  W3 made him pretty viable without them, and DW made Jill viable without her zombie strikers.  It just adds too much.

I'm really starting to wonder how many of you actually played the versus games. If Cyclops can be adapted in a pseudo CVS style without losing his specials, so can Captain. I think you guys are letting the optics of his moves change how powerful they actually are. That's why I never was a fan of warus version, it was like a different character. You can give him his specials without making him overpowered. Why neuter him, I agree with DW. I don't see the point of making essentially Warus version again but that's just my opinion.
It's all the same in the end, matter and motion, simple or complex. No difference, finally. Death, transfiguration. Ashes to ashes and slime to slime, amen.

Slowly starting to work on Captain. The moveset issue is bumming me out at the moment, and it's hard to have one that makes everyone happy, where it brings both something new and old-school, so to speak.

Why not be your own man, do it the way you want to. Follow your gut instincts. You have no limitations in what you can do, not sure why you are setting them for yourself. You have all those suggestions, make something out of it.

CFA, before it was scrapped also had a Capcom that had his MVC moveset with similar enough to cvs gameplay. Warusaki didn’t limit what he could do, he created his own thing which is harder to do than simiply referencing source material..

How do you want his gameplay to be? Which archetype would he fit best in? That’s how you decide. It’s mugen, you can make anything work. Follow your own standard.

^ Pretty much it. I, for example, merely gave some thoughts and ideas in order to help you decide what could be your own best vision of C.Commando.

Whatever the route you choose for him, I'm sure it will be pretty good. :thumbsup:

Same.  Regardless of what may be said, it is yours to make however you wish.  We know it will be good, however you make Captain Commando.

well his neomax in xiii, it's easy to add and edit you could use his silhouette from Chi no Bousou or some existing rips from xiii.

Buffer system and better hitboxes is what I would start with.

You already have a good base it just need a bit of polishing.
Same goes for Raiden and Dhalsim too.

Hi all. Sorry for this bump, but here's a beta for the update for Yamazaki. Consider it my late Christmas Present to you guys. Still needs some polishing, (and major damage nerfs to the Drill(s)), but I wanted to see if I needed to make some changes here and there.

Level 1 and 2 Drills, New EX Sand Spray and updated hitboxes (at least from last time, if memory serves).
