I had this idea from watching the MST3K/Rifftrax Videos and the trailer from the Manos The Hands of Fate game.

The story is that all of the monsters and characters from B-Movies are out of work. That is until an announce from Hollywood said that they needed something to remake from the 50's to the 80's.

The monsters all wanted their movies remade, to relive their former glory and hopefully remove their B-Movie status. So what do they do, they beat the living crap out of each other until one is left standing and gets the movie deal.

The gameplay could be something from the VS Capcom series.

(--Playable Fighters--)

The Phantom Creep Robot
The Prince of Space
The Creeping Terror
Gamera
Octaman
Infra-Man
The Bali Witch (Mystics in Bali)
C.H.U.D. (The first C.H.U.D. movie)
Ymir (20 Million Miles to Earth)
Vol The Alien Brain (The Brain from Planet Arous)
Ro-Man (Robot Monster)
Torgo the Saytr (Manos, The Hands of Fate)

(--Bosses--)
La Carcagne the Anti-Matter Buzzard (The Giant Claw)
El Santo
The Master (Manos, The Hands of Fate)
Uwe Boll

(--Stages--)
The Grave-yard (Plan 9 from Outer Space)
The Hitler Building (Invasion of the Neptune)
Krankor Warship (The Prince of Space)
The Alter to Manos (Manos, The Hands of Fate)
The Stadium (The Black Scorpion)
The City of Tokyo (Every japanese giant monster movie)
The Radioactive Sewers of New York (C.H.U.D.)
Bronson Cave (The most used area in motion picture history)
The Satellite of Love (MST3K)

If you have any idea of other fighters and/or stages, you can post below.

I dig the concept but how are you going about spriting all that?

Well to tell you the truth, I'm not sure. I mean it's just an idea I want to throw out there, so anyone could use it. And I haven't done any serious sprite making before except for some minor projects.

If I could, maybe it could be like the sprites from the NES. It has been done in the Manos iPad Game, and those looked pretty good by NES standards.

If you have the skill and decide to get serious with this idea, you could buy a graphics pad and design the sprites yourself.

Just an idea.

if this seemed at all readily possible i'd totally be down for it. i'm sure troma's line of movies have a whole lot to add to the roster, would love to see sgt kabukiman enter a fighting game format
