Enjoying the Capcom and SNK fighting series and their crossovers between their own series and each other, I felt like taking notes regarding which characters are in which crossovers and how many crossover-viable sprite styles they're available in.

For this, I take CvS to cover from CvS1 to CvS2 including Pro, since characters only got added, never removed.

For the sake of simplicity, I take "SvC" sprite style to cover sprites both available in that game as well as KoF and NGBC, as there was a lot of reuse between them, regardless of some shading differences - they were considered compatible enough by SNK, so that criteria will have to do.

Same applies to "CvS", covering SFA, DS and Versus series.

Other than those 2, only the NGPC style will be mentioned for the sake of brevity (I'm not going to list every sprite style ever applied to Ryu if it's not compatible to any other series).

This kind of comparison comes to mind when I ponder the odds of an arcade-proportioned version of SvC:MotM, stages and all, and felt like writing it down somewhere, no more and no less.

Iori went Riot of Blood in every crossover, so for this he had to be mentioned.

I liked quite a few of the additions to NGBC, but technically it wasn't a crossover with another company, so those characters mostly exclusive to it and other SNK games really aren't available in any Capcomized sprite form, so not completely worth a mention for this. If this were to help decide on a sprite style froa a crossover game in Mugen, then that choice might influence which games could have characters extracted from them, like Captain Commando if the SFA-ish style got picked, or Tung Fu Rue from the SNK side.
