Reports says he is serious condition, but we will wait to see how this develops.
He walked out of that plane. And by the looks of it, he did an almost perfect emergency landing there.

I wish him a speedy recovery so he can continue to fly.

Apparently, his injuries aren't that serious as it was believed the first time. Still, good to know he walked out of the crash by his own.

People probably freaked out at the report that he had blood all over his face. But the skull is where you can bleed the most even if the injury is just a minor cut.

Small aircrafts aren't as safe as large cargo and passenger ones.
And in this case, it was a World War II training aircraft. Even with great maintenance those are prone to have mechanical failures at some point.

Luckily, it happened when a skilled pilot was flying it.

Multiple plane crashes and he hasn't died? He's just as badass in real life as he is in his movies. :)
Though on the other hand, he has just as much luck with planes as New 52 Hal Jordan.
