Ill post system and moveset soon, know Im focusing on very high mobility and a similar button layout as my goku.

Good deal man. If everyone would pick a char from the XIII to work on (in your style) I think we would have a great community made mugen game. And someone make the screenpack etc.

Thanks for sharing your progress!

Only "complaint" I might have just watching the gifs is that the SFX could be a tad too big or not yet big enough on specials to destinct the different moves.

 Simplification is fine, you're working with a more anime-inspired mechanic if he's really going to be similar to Goku and easier commands lend to the player devoting there focus more into the high-speed action as they would need to. I've done something similar with two SNK characters myself. :P

Made  a few changes, Trinity is triggered with either PP or KP, not all four.

I tried not to use DP motions for the sake of simplification, like in DBFZ. Think of Y as just a kick button.

This kind of reminds me of a gameplay system I've been thinking about recently. I still need to write it down. What do you think Terry's V-Trigger will be like?

But why a V-Trigger? A Max Mode would fit because he's a KOF character.

Perhaps the V-Trigger is Max Mode? A lot of V-Triggers in Street Fighter V sort of function like Max Mode, such as Ken's VT1, Bison's VT1, Akuma's VT1, F.A.N.G's VT2, both of Sakura's VT's, etc.

 That's not really true at all, V-Triggers function more like special traits that give access to new moves and mechanics in which everyone's V-Triggers are distinct, which is a far cry from MAX Mode. It does make me curious what unique traits and moves Terry will access with it however.

There will be a power dunk. He doesnt have the sprites in kofxiii but ill figure it out.

So Terry will have air versions of the following specials. Of course with different properties for it to make some sense.

- Crack Shoot (spike move, little horizontal movement and very fast fall speed)
- Burn knuckle (short range, good against bait characters)
- Power wave (pretty much smash brothers air power wave)

Btw, Im not giving special abilities the usual 3 versions with varying strength/recovery. Most only have 1 version activated with any button, a few have 2. As I said before, im focusing on lots of mobility and lots of system options but overall simplicity.

Think of the first three supers as ex moves and trinity as an ultra. Trust me, its way easier for input as it is now. Your muscle memory from sfv will kick in. If anything i would make trinity use all three buttons but thats not too compatible with regular keyboards.

If Power Dunk is a super wouldn't it make more sense to have it shoot a geyser as he impacts the ground like his High Angle Geyser super.

You can do cool stuff like this, takes 1000 power and cant really be controlled beyond activation to balance how potentially broken this is.

Perfect Guard (defend right when the hit lands, no damage, no pushback, recover health, advantage frames)

 Honestly, if I wasn't working on my own WIP atm, I would attempt at a Terry AI patch for some more AI coding practice. So, perhaps I can attempt one some time in the future.

I don't think my A.I. coding is bad (From what I see with my chars). I think I'd do a decent job with it. But just let me be the last option if no one else knocks it out

Decided to add a lvl 5 super. Homage to the whole earth power (hakkyokuseiken) from the anime.

I named it Legendary Hungry Wolf. Tons of mid range damage.

No dash like buster wolf on this one, it goes straight to the blast.

Pretty much done with the update, last thing I added was this system feature, its my take on combo extenders like custom combo.

It slows down p2 by 30% for a while, as long as it connects
