The whole Extra Points for GA contests is really giving me headaches and never really worked, expecially because I never set the rules correctly for them, and technically a not-so-skillful spriter could win a contest by entering with like 20 badly scratch-drawn entries. This doubt has crossed my mind when I noticed that VF's entries would have racked up more points depending on how I interpreted the rules :pwnonk: so I guess that from this contest onwards no extra points will be awarded unless for special reasons (that is, like, drawing your own pic for this particolar one).

I know all of you aren't probably interested in such trivia but I felt like asking for your opinion on the matter.

You could arbitrarily give points and not make it a complete democracy. You could base your decisions on a jury's opinions (lol me, POTS, you, Titiln, whutevah).

You mean like, "HONORABLE MENTIONS GET MORE POINTS"? That would be an idea after all.

Have the extra points ever solved a tie between an edit and an original sprite? I never really liked that system, voting should suffice.
