There was an old WWF Smackdown game on ps1 I loved the select theme in as well, just don't recall the full name.

The very first fighting game I've ever played. It was the sucky PS1 version, but still loved it.

Hard to pick one since there's quite a few. I find the best select themes are the ones that really hype you up for the match to come, so things like vanilla SFIV's, SSFIV's arcade mode variant, and Tekken Tag (PS2)'s really do the trick, but I also like Cross Tag's and UNI's.

The one I use in MUGEN, however, is not from a fighting game.
