Is there any possiblity that you can integrate ELECTRO's interactive mugen stuff in your engine?

No integration from Mugen to my Template is possible. However you can code those stuff to work on all characters, not just specific ones.

I hope to became possible to add interactive features without coding chars.Cant in any future this can be happen only coding in stages?

It's possible to do just code stages to have features like that. I will showcase them when I am done with Fighter coding. :)

Are you able to just put in a video file instead of doing the Visual Novel styled cutscenes? I want to make the 2D equivalent to the pre-rendered cutscenes you see in Triple A fighting games.
Hopefully someday I'll be able to make the little puffball on my profile pic.

Not yet. Though I will surely make a "Fatality" mode where the game can be prevented to go KO mode if a player's health is 0. But it won't be just fatality. For example if you want a dialogue to happen after the match end, this will be possible as well.

One example is in Street Fighter Alpha 2's Sakura's Arcade, where after she defeats Honda. He rises up with 0 health to say where Ryu probably is and then the game ends.

Yes Unreal can play rendered videos no problem. Need that myself as well so I will be creating a SCTRL to make things ubersimple.

Howdy folks! We finally have Story Mode around! It's a short video that showcase what's possible!



This is mostly a major code - behind the scenes update where beings can live without relying on other ones. Such as a Fighter does not need a Team to exist anymore. This allows us to spawn stages, fighters, fighting scenes etc runtime in an empty space, allowing you to, well, create your own Story!

So here is the list for now:

1- Free Camera Movement
2- Spawn / Remove / Change Characters and Stages
3- Free Single Character Roaming
4- Showcase Visual Novel System
5- Trigger "Fighting Game System" at will

I believe these are enough to show what you can do. I know I could show much more but really need to work on Fighters. I am a bit burnt out on the Menu and Game Mode stuff. So till then, take care! ^-^
