Ah, Virtua Fighter. Have not the series in a while. And to believe it's been around for 20 years is just amazing. Welp, Happy 20th anniversary VF, and thank Yu Suzuki and the Sega AM2 team for making the first 3D fighter and one of my favorite series!

Virtua fighter 2 was my favorite back in the days,  its the fighting game that got me stuck on fighters.  Leon, shun and rocky were my favorits back then on the sega saturn days.

I normally don't say this towards fighting games, but "Happy 20th Anniversary, Virtua Fighter. Mat you have many more years to come."

I really don't play Virtua Fighter enough (I guess it's expected juggling so many things).

Anyway, the great Yu Suzuki was interviewed in lieu of the occasion. Currently it's only in JP, someone will translate eventually. Originally, he wanted to do a soccer or rugby game but the amount of models on screen would've been too much (I also believe Sega wanted to cash in on the FG boom)... thanks MMCafe.

It's pretty known that Suzuki originally wanted VF to go up to 5... it'll be interesting if they respect Suzuki's wish or go with another game anyway (they'll probably find a way around it: spin-off, interquel, reboot).

Or they could get more money by showing the damn PC some love already >_>. We didn't get a VF port for PC in AGES.

Its been a real while VF 2 came on PC....Plus It would have been a better crossover with Tekken Than SF

20 years already?
I think I've lived too long now, I remember clearly when Virtua Fighter was the most innovative thing ever, I mean, 3D, Ring Outs, POLYGONS!!!
I'm too damn old for this. :(
That’s when I thought, “good grief”
