add004 tag system not working

So i finally got around to trying add004, i got the lifebar and characters all setup, but nothing i do in the matches lets me use the tag/assist system.

I can't switch characters or have them use assists. I've tried every single button combination, nothing's worked.

Is there something im doing wrong, or is it just not able to work in normal mugen, do u need something special for it to work?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you copied add004's common1.cns into data folder?

the button combination is y+b to assist
