i was looking forward for apocrypha but damn it kinda sucks. animation is lackluster and i'm not a fan on how they showed mordred's back story it felt out of place and rushed.

but that's how they show servant backstories in fate, doing otherwise woudl just feel wrong.

i know, but what i mean is how they presented it. and even in f/sn and ubw they didn't show everything, it's like part by part and then a full episode or half at least like ufotable's take on diarmud. it was perfectly executed especially diarmud and his master is having an issue.

i really wished ufotable made this series instead or at least the new studio nut, they've got some awesome sound director there.

well, ufotable has it's own problems, one of them being that they are totally uanble to do a 24 episodes series, hell, they struggle with 12 episodes one, just look at the catastrophe that god eater was. also ubw (and aprtially ), did show that they suck at ipmproving the plot; ubw wiht the redundant events going on, fate zero with the ill-allocated events (chagnes they made from the novel) and what's worse, they had an extra chapter, so they decided to make loli rin's adventures.
