who said anything about respriting it? i only mentioned porting the game and giving it online support.

So you don't like that they're milking an ancient game that was completely resprited and you instead want... another ancient game instead. Basically you're just complaining that they're not porting the game you want.
SF2 is easy because they already did it. SFA3 would probably need a big overhaul of the system code first, I hope you're not imagining that you can just pluck any random SNES or PSX game and copy-paste the CD to a new console. Now think of the size of SFA3 and try to imagine how much work it would require to redo everything (and they did make some noise about how hard they worked on redoing SF2 the first time).

SF2 is infinitely more profitable than any other 2D SF (or any other 2D fighter) because of nostalgia factor. A glorious Alpha 3 port with ugly ass filters wouldn't sell half as many copies as it.

I think he was talking "HD" like that JJBA "HD" or the ports of sf3, DS and mvc2 & 1 that had those shitty "HD" Filters.

Not a full and complete resprite like this.

ONI was the default high score name in ST as well. It means nothing.
