The trailer launches at 9 AM EST today, so all of us can see if this picture is true or not.I think it's false for one simple reason.. Remember back in the trailer for Shang Tsung when they unveiled who was in the first pack. The two guests they didn't mention... one was easy to spot (Terminator theme = Terminator). The other was the sound of a chain saw. I don't know about you guys, but I don't normally associate The Joker with a chain saw (unless he was known to carry one in one the myriad of comics that's out there).
Macaulyn97 said, August 21, 2019, 02:40:37 pmI agree, but they could have changed plans, they stayed silent for quite long.I think that's exactly what happened dude. Cause it seemed as though Sindel would be next, since they save the guests for last but the movie is coming out in October so they got orders from the higher ups to release T-800 next. As for Ash, Bruce is a big ass troll just like Ed, and maybe things broke down with WB and probably had to push him to the second kombat pack (might be coming, might be not) but at the end of the day, *Card subject to change*. Leaks still ringing true so far, so there's that.Joker however......he's looking kinda rough, like they want him in their realistic style, but couldn't figure out how to make it work.....kinda like Sonya in the first round of models.
The Joker looks so metrosexual and boring. Tbh, I feel they should've given this slot to any other DC character. The Joker has been in so many games and media it not even appealing to see him crossover. I personally would've loved Swamp thing or John Constantine, but unfortunately those two are a bit too obscure.
it's like a mix of heath ledger and major from hellsing. those chubby cheeks and clean hairstyle. would've bought in ash from evil dead insteadedit: oh now i know where i've seen this joker , it's the joker wannabe from batman beyond.
That Joker looks like it was made using a create-a-character mode. Like, not actually built and designed to be a model of the Joker, but put together as best they could with a selection of pre-made assets and scale sliders.
Joker kinda looks like the upcoming Joaquin Phoenix Joker with the classic facepaint. Either way, kinda groovy.
Ironically, I would have preferred the cartoon. A Mark Hamill facsimile, if not himself, and that would have been just dandy. Always the preferred Joker personally.Would have thought they would go for at least a design that really pushes the pronounced jawline you'd often see in the comics. More Killing Joke, less....Ken from Barbie with Joker make-up, whatever this is.
The more I thought of the Joker here, I thought he looked more like this version for some reason:But hey, they got until January to make him look more iconic. From the laugh in the trailer, I'd assume they're bringing back Injustice's VA for him (who is Raiden in game), so that at least makes sense.
Said this to a few friends already and a comment on Max Dood's reaction to it: I'm 93% certain Joker looking so young is because of MK11's story mode dealing with time travel and past versions and stuff. He's gonna get older Joker options once he finally drops.
People figured they would use the same VA cause the leaked dialogue had both of them commenting on how they are similar to each other (ala same VA).
Richard Epcar is the voice of Joker, the laugh they use in the trailer is the same laugh they always re-use ever since MKvDC
