this is very nice

a detail: to my opinion, the elbow finisher should be an uppercut (in place of a "downcut")

i think that the whole animation ending would be more fluent (& realistic: imagine yourself doing the move -> it'll be very complicated to turn on yourself & then to hit with your elbow from up to down)

thanks. about the elbow finisher, i've copied some bruce irvin combos. And anyway the uppercut can be an option after that reverse elbow (hit 4). ;) ;)

Sagat is officially revealed in SFV. It will be interesting to see if Capcom gave him a moveset as beastly as this Sagat.

yes, i saw, i think i'll release a beta soon, with still some little bugs to fix, but at least i grant you the (a lot of) updates from june release so far. ;) ;)

here you are what i was referring to (with sprite-improved elbow finisher):



after the 4th rev.elbow hit you can choose (with lp,mp or hp) which move you prefer. ;) ;)

i really love the sprite-improved new version.

check also the teep kicks combo at the end of the video, i think they resemble enough the tekken 5/6 bruce irvin ones. ;)

but i want to tell that your elbow finisher could also be down from down to up

well:
1. your original elbow finisher is from up to down
2. you showed an alt finishing combo with a (tiger) uppercut
3. i only meant that your original elbow finisher could be more realistic with the same move, but from down to up (= without being an uppercut)

ah ok now i've understood.. btw there's already the uprising elbow edited from gill/urien.. :/

i've added a strong upper punch finisher, as always looking at bruce irvin for references.. :D :D



about uprising urien elbow combo check from 0.36 and go on.. ;)

anyway, some improving on: joe mid punch, elbow finisher, rising strong punch.







as you notice, i've lowered them all and added some transition frames (thanks rotsprite :D ), now i think they're more realistic.

as always, i don't understand why imgur doesn't take the right ticks of the gifs..  >:( >:( >:(

My point is that most wall bounce moves don't make sense in reality, but in games wall bounces are a sight to see for fictional entertainment.
Congratulations on the second release. This is the type of Sagat I wanted in a Capcom Vs SNK 3 reveal back in my teenage years. Really cool.
I can foresee the final release playing better than SFV Sagat in the future.

Heya, would you mind making any future update posts on Sagat in your Zangief project thread?. Topics in the release section should generally only be posted in when there's a new release out. Keeping everything sorted into projects and releases is important, after all.
