Tomba? wow, I loved that game. Hard as hell, but I finished it :)

Thanos is pretty cool. And Goro is very nice!

Cody's skin its a bit too dark, isn't it?

It probably is, I took it from the Final Fight Sprite.

just a test image....I think I may have to make the length of the chain longer, for the full charge effect

I just used a random gif animating program, and since it is rough, that's why the images have weird outlines they aren't supposed to in the final version.

Unfortunately due to the fact that my knowledge is limited to just these edits, I can't bring him to life on my own  :P

I still can't recognize him. You need to make his skin a little brighter and change his hair.

Just something to keep you guys updated lol, this was just for fun since I don't know whether I'll be using it or not.

Didn't really get anything done today aside from this, because I've been feeling lousy today, but I have a day off tomorrow, so hopefully I can wrap up most of this project to move onto the next sprite set.

I DO NEED YOUR HELP FOR ONE THING GUYS!

On my last update of the full spritesheet  I need you guys to give me your opinions on the 2 Striker moves from Charles (the monkey).

Not sure whether I should use the huge banana that multiplies into smaller ones upon impact, or the banana bunch that splits into 3.

Just wanted someone elses input, I'm personally in favour of the smaller banana bunch toss.

Hi guys! Just thought I'd let you see what my progression is so far on this. Made a fair bit of advancement on this, since I was at home today, so I got most of him finished. I would say his sprite sheet is about 85-90% finished. Mostly minor stuff missing, like charge effects, some general effect sprites, but I'd say aside from actually coding him all together, the stuff that'll make him up is almost done lol.

There may also be an upcoming surprise within the near future to coincide with the finish of the spritesheet, but you'll have to wait ;).

Anyhow, enough talk, here he is as up to date as I've gotten him to this particular moment, enjoy :D

For any fans of the game, I did use the idea of the "evil pig robes" from Tomba! 2 with some modificication. This is mostly due to the fact that Tomba! 2 was in 3D and I haven't played it in a fair bit, so I went the more logical route with this, by using sprites from Tomba! 1 and using that to make similar things but based off of the pigs from the first game, since they used 2D sprites instead. Personally, I was really happy with the end result :)

I find it kinda cool doing Tomba in this form, because of the coincidence there is in this particular style as well. The person who created Tomba, also created the Ghosts N Ghouls/Goblins series for Capcom, but more importantly, he was involved with Megaman, working as a producer from Megaman 2 until X7. Just thought it was a fun little fact to share lol.

Looks like Aquaman. His Final Fight clothes are just too simple, but yet his Alpha/SSF4 ones are far too much detail. You're in for the long haul here when trying to convert them to 8bit.

Maybe it'd work out, in this case, to slightly modify his head using that sprite from Mighty Final Fight as a base, if it's still a concern.
