It's about time I release something new isn't it?

Well well, I've been talking about my projects on this thread...

And while Broly is still in the works... Dan's got a pretty big update! xD

EVIL DAN IS HERE!

Evil Dan, Dan with the power of the Satsui no Hado!
Did you know that Dan actually was able to access the Satsui no Hado in the UDON Comics, once?



This scene right here was the very inspiration for this update, haha!

In fact, just like in the comic, if Dan fails the Shun Goku Satsu, he'll trip and become exposed to attacks...
(Like when you fail a Shissou Buraiken).
I also added a lot of stuff for him from Ultra Street Fighter IV's OMEGA Mode, haha.
Like the Danretsuken, for example! xD

I didn't even sleep last night just so I could finish and upload all this stuff...
So I hope it was all worth it, haha.







- But other than Dan, Ryu and Akuma have also been updated!
In fact, I guess I'll leave the update changes straight from their Readmes here...

Unfortunately the lack of access to a decent PC stops me from recording gameplay of Evil Dan... but meh, not like it's necessary, haha.

The Ryu update is also pretty damn HUGE! I mean he's got 5 more Supers now! (Kinda...)
Plus a Zankuu Hadouken for Evil/Master Ryu! xD

Excuse me, Ryu's Intros with Ken work with Ryu on the left, but the opposite causes intro detection to mess up.

I just threw the latest version from his website into my roster. Yeah it's just not so good atm.

Daaamn, man. This Dan is GOOD. But have to say, I don't exactly understand the reason behind you changing vels of his Dankyaku. HK and EX Versions just fly over KFM.

I select a different pallete for Dan, but in second fight, the pallete always changes to default pallete. It's a bug?

But I think HK and EX Versions Dankukyaku too high just fly over KFM.

As for the debug flood issue pointed out above, I did some digging through Dan's code and found a couple of the causes...

In the standing state, there's an AssertSpecial sctrl which should be using cond instead of ifelse. You should also be redirecting to p2 and p4 using enemy(0) and enemy(1) respectively.

Another major cause is your palette selection code. Various RemapPal sctrls are being passed float variables for the dest when they should just be using regular (int) vars instead.

Evil Dan's (and Master Dan's) Dankuu Kyaku are based on USFIV's Omega Mode.
Dan's Dankuu Kyaku is just like that in Omega Mode, haha.

Honestly though, this is like, the 5th time someone ever mentions me the whole "debug flood" thing.
Too bad no one has ever told me what it does, the causes behind it, or how to fix it.

But thank you for that specific code, GK. I've already applied it to Dan! xD

In fact, I have now updated Dan and fixed some of the stuff that you guys mentioned.

<19.02.2019>
- Fixed a glitch that made the Palette Selector pretty much
  useless in Arcade Mode.
- Evil/Master Dan can now cancel the Danshura Senkuu into Shun Goku Satsu
  while controlled by the A.I.
- Minor changes/bug fixes.

Don't if it just me but I think there wrong with palettes for Akuma(Transform). Cause he does not change palettes when transform as well as the other modes have the same palettes as normal akuma

UPDATE TIME!
Dan just got a HUGE update, yet again! xD

Including 3 Super new moves; the Tenma Godankuu, MAX Tenma Godankuu, and Chouhatsu Gohadou! (a counter-based Lv3 Super) xD

- Added the Tenma Gou Dankuu and MAX Tenma Gou Dankuu Lv2 Supers for Evil Dan!
  These can also be used in mid-air, haha.
- Added the Chouhatsu Gohadou Lv3 Super for Evil Dan!
  (Which means Evil Dan has technically 5 new Supers. Haha!)
- Added a CONSTANT Evil-Aura for Evil Dan! ;D
  (Kind of like my Evil Ryu's aura, haha).
- Added a new "Easter Egg" for the Chouhatsu Gou Hadou, haha.
- Added a new intro for Evil Dan (he's got 2 intros now, lmao).
- Changed the sound effect of Evil Dan's Taunts, so he's more unique now, haha.
- Changed Evil Dan's Lv3 Super portrait, so it looks good enough now, lmao.
- Improved Evil/Master Dan's A.I. usage of the Danshura Senkuu.
- Added Evil Dan's Satsui no Hado aura to his Power Charge and Haoh Gadouken.

But it's not just Dan, Ryu has been updated as well! xD
(Although really, I only fixed a HUGE glitch with the Zankuu Hadouken / EX Tenma Gozankuu... when they impacted other projectiles).

Thanks for the update brother, here are some inquires:
1. The EvilDan unotag def file has Evil Dan.st instead of EvilDan.st
2. Maybe some Portraits for Evil Dan in the specified folder?
3. I feels kinda random that there is no EX Kouryuu Ken. This could be in place if the Danshura Senkuu was 3 buttons like your other chars.
4. Any plans for a "Dankuu Gadouken"? I don't think the new kick super deserves the name Tenma Gou Dankuu.

Also do you have plans to update your older chars and edit for example Dudley and God Rugal?
