Bugs and other potential issues report:
Yukari Yakumo
  • If the forward dash is used at the very moment Yukari lands on the ground from her liedown recovery animation, she will dash indefinitely, though using any attack will get her out of it; couldn't seem to replicate this with the backwards hop or get this glitch to occur with any other THRP character.
  • Ride the Waves - Projectile attacks that are not absorbed by the move display strange behaviours when their hitboxes are touching a gap's hitbox, for example, Yukari can make herself immune to attacks like Shikigami "Ran Yakumo", Urashima's Box and  Border Sign "Quadruple Barrier" just by spawning a gap; Shikigami "Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen" has a really weird interaction with a gap where the gap will keep absorbing Chen's 'bounches' so long as her hitbox is touching the gap's, though I don't know the rate of the bounces being drained, and attacks like Sakuya's Wound Sign "Inscribed Red Soul" or Alice's Doll Placement can actually do more hits when a gap is out, the former can also send Yukari airborne much earlier.
Sakuya Izayoi
  • Knife projectiles from Sense of Thrown Edge, Bounce/No Bounce and Illusory Sign "Killing Doll" are absorbed by Yukari's Ride the Waves, but do not add to the gap meter.
Byakuren Hijiri
  • Certain characters with attacks that have low enough endlag, such as Reimu, Flandre and Yuuka's standing LPs, can attack Byakuren during Durga's Soul and then successfully block the counter-attack.
Yuyuko Saigyouji
  • The amount of hits dealt by Eternal Wandering is heavily inconsistent depending on a opponent's size and their distance in relation to Yuyuko when the attack goes off, as well as if the attack is used against a cornered opponent; LP usually does 4 hits but can rarely go up to 6, MP version usually does either 5 or 6 hits, HP usually varies between 4 or 5 hits, but can sometimes do 6.
  • The air version of Ghostly Butterfly cancels itself when Yuyuko lands similar to what Light of the Undead used to do, though while nowhere near as prominent as LotU, there is a noticeable amount of time for this to occur.
  • Death Sign "Ghastly Dream" has Ride the Waves steal the attack's hitboxes and add to the gap meter.
  • The ground version of Butterfly Sign "Death Lance" only hits 7 times against opponents starting from mid ranges, the 'background' laser at the very top will always go by the opponent just before the they are sent high enough to hit it.
Koishi Komeiji
  • Unanswered Love can be abused by characters with teleports/rolling dodges that don't leave the ground, as they can keep teleporting away from it/phase through it and force Kosihi to turn round and continue the attack; this can be repeated many times to stall out the match until it automatically stops, which is after a significant amount of time.

  • The aerial HP and EX versions of Witch Leyline can be unsafe on hit under certain circumstances, usually when used up close to a grounded opponent that's in the corner.

There's an issue with Yukari's Fight the Ocean that seems to have only started occurring recently, where some of the projectiles stop moving and enter a divide by zero state twice, though they do disappear properly. Dubug info is:

Minor issues with Reimu:
  • Very rarely, one of the Fantasy Seal orbs will start tracking the opponent as normal, only to trail off on its own after about half a second; I can't seem to find a way to consistently replicate this, it seems to be random.
  • This debug message shows up during Fantasy Nature: Warning: expression truncated to integer: player amulet_spawn in state 24210: 240.000000.
Issues with Utsuho...again:
  • Similar to Marisa's pre-update Narrow Spark, Utsuho's level 3 Control Rod beam is completely absorbed by the gap, leaving Utsuho in the attack animation with no beam being emitted.
  • Also similar to the above problem, Utsuho's Explosion Sign "Giga Flare" beam is completely absorbed by the gap, leaving Utsuho in the attack animation with no beam being emitted for an extended period of time.

Edit: a list of potentially unusual Ride the Waves interactions, I'm not sure how many of these are legitimate issues or just nitpicking; lots of this stuff seems to relate to Hypers, oddly enough.

Actually, the central laser is still being nullified by Ride the Waves, but there's also this new issue that I've stumbled across with LotU where landing at just the right moment makes it so both the aerial and ground versions of the attack become active and hit the opponent for a 10-hit combo; a similar issue might occur with Ghostly Butterfly, though I have yet to pull it off.
