Atleast she has precedence more than most since she became a nature spirit at the end of her storyline so she most likely kept her original appearance because it's the most convenient.

Seems that having her wearing a swimsuit is too inappropiated  for some people, curious part is that nobody said anything regarding her age when in the samurai shodown series she could be killed in very violent ways.

Again, violence is considered okay while anything sexual is considered a massive "no-no" here in the States. Japan is the opposite to us: they don't mind sexuality while over the top violence is something they aren't too comfortable with.

I will say this though: It's highly amusing to see the more stoic heroes likes Leona in those kind of outfits.

What I find amusing is her whole reaction, while the other girls are visibly confused or annoyed she's like "uh, what I'm doing here again?".

I think it has to do with the mindset of just one cleavage shot, nipple slip, or girl-girl kiss, no matter how innocent and genuine the scene is, and it's automatically labelled pornography. The other has to do with how video games are looked upon as toys, and as such, should be exclusively family friendly. I honestly can't go any further than those two sentences because we then enter the dangerous world of politics, something I really don't want to get into or ever get involved with. I just want to enjoy my video games without any sort of propaganda. But I do have a basic understanding of why the US feels this way towards video games: Mortal Kombat, Night Trap, Lethal Enforcers, the shelved Video Games Act of 1994, and the creation of the ESRB.

jesus christ, it's not some propaganda thing man. some people are into that stuff, some people aren't. it's as simple as that. it's preference, you're acting as if everyone who doesn't like it, doesn't like it because of political reasons. I personally don't care for the fanservice too much, it's forgettable but it doesn't mean that I think when people don't like it it's due to some crusade or movement or the ESRB. relax.

There are a few people who are genuinely uncomfortable with this sort of stuff (which is not really as big a real as some make it to br), but most of the time it's just hypocrisy (you know, people trying to keep a social image or something like that).

there are obviously people like that but saying that most of the time it's like that is ridiculous. a good amount of the guys in the mfg discord dont like it simply due to preference, if it's like that in our discord then im sure as hell theres alot more people who are like that as well.

imo blaming alot of others based off of internet articles and having them being labeled as a hypocrite or something puts you in a bad spot just as much as them :/

I wasn't really talking about MFG in itself but the Internet in general (it's what I see in places like Facebook), though you do have a point.

Anyway, this discussion is useless and honestly have not much to do with this topic (basically one guy commented on Nako's age and it ballrolled into this).

I am glad the developers are listening to their fans on this one and not the prudish morons in gaming journalism. Your fans are the ones buying your games. The gaming journalists are not, so you should not need to listen to them.

I'm really happy SNK cares for the fans, not the journalists. It seems to me that a lot of these so called "Video game journalists" are just a bunch of greedy no-lifers making a living by making other people's lives miserable.
