When and where to post what?

When should I post my character into the "Beta release phase" Should be after I feel I've finished everything I can, and now need feedback, or should I do it asap so I can get as much help as early on as possible?

Also good, but try to make sure you implement sufficient features in it before doing so, or it'll seem like you're wasting people's time
