like the idea that you added this here and also gave it separate threads (depending on topic). now...onto the characterso you decided to give him the fence on longer stages, any particular reason? looks really good, just curious. love the idea on color scheme depended on the stage, you think of incredibly crazy ideas
I thought it was unfair for him to only be able to perform his wall moves on the smaller stages, especially considering that some people (myself included) probably prefer the long stages. Plus, he seemed very underpowered to me.
like his moveset, and having him able to his snow/hailstorm move makes it all the more sweeter. AAACCCKKK!!

I'm one character away from having all 8 maverick bosses from Mega Man X, which would be Launch Octopus.As for a beta, it won't be a while until I make any type of release, but whenever I do put something out will definitely be this year.

Don't worry. Worst thing I'll ever do is take long ass breaks here and there, but I will never cancel this wip or the Super Nostalgia Wars one shown on my Youtube. Things are always moving. As for the voices, I figured I'd do my own voice work for the time being. But otherwise they're pretty much just placeholder sounds. I had originally contacted someone on the Mega Man X9 forums to lend her voice (I find that more fighting games need female voice announcers) which she said she would, but keeping in contact with her recently, it seems she has just been busy and not gotten around to it.So yeah, thats whats going on there.
i figured you were somehow involved with the voice, just something about it maybe think it was you doing that, sounds very professionalish and good. agreed, if it was a sexy female type voice id totally go for it
Indeed. The person I had contacted actually has a couple of friends who also do voice acting for fan games from time to time and thought that it would be a fun idea to have them each voice the navigators, which I personally thought was a tad excessive. All I really need is one voice actor to do everything Either way its moot since it doesn't seem like they are too dependable.
I'm only using certain bosses and enemies from MM7. For the most part the proportions of the characters in that game (Mainly Mega Man and Bass) are very large and wouldn't fit in. I've made a few exceptions such as Slash Man so far because of the resemblance to the X style.As for Axl himself, a X-style sprite sheet of him was already provided a few months back.

sure has been awhile...Centipede seems to be the most difficult one to play with considering the "shurikens?"movements, good job though id would have to look or play to see how he works. and is boomer updated? for some reason i dont remember his charged boomerangs coded that well
Magna Centipede is a good character is you don't depend purely on his shurikens as a primary attack. As for Boomer Kuwanger, he hasn't actually been updated since the last video.
well i wasnt sure if you actually play as the characters(to my knowledge it does look like it) but if its true, with this character you were actually close to dying(like with less than 5) so thats why i say hes seems a bit difficult to play even you dont use his shurikens at all. i suppose it would of been easier to just check out the one Kuwanger was in, even if it was months ago .

Yes and no. I will include all 8 starting Mavericks from the 3 games, but I'll only include some sub-bosses. Basically anyone that is near the same size as X and Zero or at least mobile enough to be a good character. Mac, Vile, Sigma's first forms, Bit, Byte, etc.I will include a few large characters just for the fun of it, but only if they're as I said mobile enough or at least interesting enough to play as. Like Godkarmachine O Inary and X3 Sigma's Kaiser form for example. I already got Bee Blader as a playable character as you might have seen.
been a looong time. great as always, would have like if you coded is critical state where he turns blue, but i guess nothing would be too much different other than blue flames.
